  • 360 - #346: The Curry Killer - She Killed 6 Of Her Husband’s Family Members With CURRY So She Could Marry Her Cousin

Jolly’s whole family was dead. Well, almost all of them, but she never let that get her down. But this time, her friends noticed - something was very wrong with Jolly.  She seemed out of it at the small gathering. Anytime someone tried talking to her - she would glance across the room. It seemed like she was waiting for someone to walk in.  “Don’t you want to marry someone like him?” - Jolly said.  Her friend looked at her like she sprouted another head - “Excuse me?” “That guy over there - he just seems so peaceful and calm.” Jolly’s friends were confused - was she talking about Shaju? He’s happily married with two kids… and not to mention… he’s her cousin.  Her friends didn’t think too much into it until Shaju, Jolly’s new love interest, his wife and child died mysteriously…  Was Jolly Joseph killing everyone that she felt was in her way? Or… was there something just in the curry?  Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. • 359 - #345: Severed Head Stabbed On Japanese School Fence With Note In Mouth - “Let’s Play A Game”

Kenta's Tuesday morning routine was always the same — a 5 a.m. breakfast of rice, miso soup, and salted salmon, followed by his walk to work at Tomogaoka Middle School, where he greeted students at the blue gates every morning. But today was different. Kenta took the same route as always — turned the same corner — and dropped his briefcase onto the ground. His hand flew to his mouth. Maybe he let out a scream, maybe he didn’t – and it was all just in his head. Shaking, Kenta read the letter: "This is the beginning of a game You stupid police Try and stop me if you can Murder is something I cannot help but enjoy There's nothing I want to see MORE than people's deaths Let the foul vegetables be punished with death Let there be bloody judgment for my many years of bitterness." On the blue metal gates of the school — right next to the sign that read TOMOGAOKA MIDDLE SCHOOL — sprouting from one of the jagged metal picks of the fence -  The severed head of an 11-year-old. The note was shoved in his mouth. • 358 - #344: “Lovely Bones” Author Is Sorry For Sending Wrong Guy To Jail For 16 Years After Writing a Book About Him

Timothy, a film director, had a new script land on his desk. The movie was in its final screenwriting stages and it just needed his final approval.  They had been working to turn Alice Sebold, the famed author of “The Lovely Bones,” they were working on turning her memoir into a movie. Her memoir was about her real life assault in college and her fight to send her violent attacker to prison. But the more Timothy read - the more he didn’t feel right about this. There was so much wrong. The details. The evidence.  Timothy picked up his phone - he called his private investigator. I need you to look into Alice Sebold for me. The New York Times Bestselling author… something’s not right. I think… I think she’s lying.  It was during the production of her movie - that it was discovered, Alice Sebold, had sent the wrong guy to prison for 16 years.  Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. • 357 - #343: Teens Kill Transgender Classmate To See If “It” Will Scream Like A Girl Or Boy

15-year-old Eddie comes home from his jog – changes out of his soiled clothes – and starts googling on his computer:  HOW TO COMBAT ANXIETY.  He’s waiting for a text message from the girl he likes - but it’s not her.  It’s a former classmate of his – Scarlet. The message reads.  “My brother just told me not to go to Linear Park because a woman got stabbed there.”  Eddie replies: “Jesus – really?”  She responds: “Yeah, they say it’s murder…” He lets the news sink in—someone was murdered at the very park that he had just been to… When the realization of that hit, Eddie would do two things.  One, he would hide the 5-inch knife in his room; it was covered in blood.  And two, he would never speak again. • 356 - #342: Korean College Student Forces 100 Girls To Mutilate Themselves On Camera LIVE For His Chatrooms

All the police could do was watch the livestream - the camera was set up in a motel room. They could see in the video the girl was helplessly crying as she was assaulted by a man. One by one - more men showed up to the motel room to assault her.  They all stood in line in the order that they came - waiting for their turns. The victim would be found dead soon after. When news broke in the livestream chatrooms that she died - the comments started pouring in.  “Wait, did the motel girl really die? That’s so sad… we should go relieve ourselves on her funeral portrait. One last gift from us! “Dang, if she knew she was going to die, she should have given us her body one more time.” The police saw the video but they had no idea who these assaulters were, who orchestrated the attack, or how to even catch them.  All they knew was there were more victims. Hundreds of them. All victims of the Nth room. And they needed to save them before another dies.  Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
