Prayer : Daddy here I am in your presence; humble and totally giving myself to you. I choose to trust and rely on you even if everything else has failed. It will not matter who’s looking because I know you are my God. Thank you for hearing my prayer, in Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Prayer : Hello God my creator and Father. I come before this moment with trust, confidence, and expectation in you. I pray that you help me to always count and wait on you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

‘’Possibility is in the eye of the beholder’’

That is to say only you can see the full picture of what your imagination has presented you.

Do not make the mistake of trying to convince others to see what you have in your mind. The danger is that they may either believe you (Positive)or discourage you.

Hold on to God

It is easy to claim to trust and rely in God when there is calm in your life.

Most of us can sing, dance, and celebrate when situations and times are favorable.

What happens when all of a sudden or gradually we start to lose?

How is our attitude then?

Can we still sing, dance, and celebrate?

How is that acclaimed trust in God when we cannot see the way out?

When you have suffered for too long - Sunday 11 February 2024

John 5:5-7 NKJV

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. [6] When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" [7] The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me."

Prayer : Father here I am in your presence this moment humble and with understanding that you are my God. I now know that you act in accordance with your time. Help me to be patient and hold on to your word in the name of Jesus Christ. I refuse to make excuses regardless of how long and what I am going through. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Suffered : Hurt / pain / hardship / misery / shame / embarrassment / failure / lonely

Be careful of suffering especially when it has gone on for so long.

Stick to God in your day/s of trouble.

Remember in Job 3 how he cursed the day he was born because he suffered a lot for loss for too long.

Mephibosheth (Jonathan’s son) referred to himself as a “dead dog”. Born lame and being so for all his life. Even his name meant shame (born from a concubine).

There is a social stigma on women that : women are weak, inferior, cannot compete, have limited capacity, cannot lead, and unequal.

Prayer : My God here I am in your presence this moment. I pray to you on the name of your Son Jesus Christ. I ask that you remember me with your favor in Jesus name, Amen!

In 2023 we spoke about “not forgotten” which was a message centered around David searching for Saul’s descendants for the sake of his dear friend, Jonathan.

2024 were looking at a similar message with the focus on God and man.

Proverbs 3:4 NIVThen you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. Grace, favor, love, and care for one to be remembered.

The mission of sin - Sunday 21 January 2024

Mission can mean : Duty / assignment / operation / business

John 8:11 NKJVShe said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."

Prayer : Lord I need help not to repeat any sin I have committed. Wash me, clean me, and purify me in Jesus name. Make my heart pure and whole in your name I pray, Amen!

Knowledge is important and the scripture tells us in Hosea 4:6 that “My people perish for luck of knowledge”.

- We need to be spiritually serious such that every opportunity to learn God’s word is grabbed with both hands.

- Make it a priority to study, learn, and grow in your understanding of the things of God.

Genesis 4:7 NKJVIf you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it."

Let’s use scripture to list a few elements of sin:

Galatians 5:19-21 GNTWhat human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions; [20] in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; [21] they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I'm glad that God has trusted me to share with you His first message for the year 2024 which is on a tittle "The voice".

Let us first start by reading the following scripture and then offering a prayer;

Matthew 11:15 NKJVHe who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Prayer: Lord sharpen my ability to hear, listen, and understand your word and all mysteries about life. I will not miss any opportunity that is meant for me and I will succeed in Jesus name. Amen!

There are plenty of voices that we hear in our lives while fully conscious and subconscious (during deep sleep or even while day dreaming). We recognize some of the voices due to familiarity and others we have no clue as they are of strangers or entirely new to us.

Right after teaching the message “The final layer”, it was dropped upon my spirit that “God is the voice and I am an instrument used behind a microphone which results in you listening to the message through the speaker.

What does this mean? Well He is the Author, the Director, the Producer, the Orchestrator, the Architect, and the Judge,.

I’m sure some of you were kept on your toes wondering what will the Pastor come with today. Well it is God who speaks and I am here to simply share what He desires. The whole world one way or another is celebrating Christmas.

While I was asking God what to speak to you about, it was dropped in my spirit that we need to be taught that the man whose birth the universe is celebrating is Son of a Carpenter. Which ultimately means He has the characteristics of a carpenter in Him. This is to mean He sees a solution to anything that is broken including you and I.

Sunday 17 December 2023 - When hunger strikes

But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"Prayer: Father I desire to overcome hunger in my life in Jesus mighty name. Help me Holy Spirit to know when hunger is about to strike so I can overcome it with your help and not lose my place in Jesus name. Amen!

Most of us relate to hunger as a sign that we need to eat food (satisfying our stomach). I want to bring to your attention that there are various hungers in life that we need to be careful of as they can result to consequences that are difficult if not impossible to reverse.

There are moments in life where we feel ill-treated (cruelly or improperly), injustice, unfairly criticized, etc. For some believers this is when a statement is made that “God or life is not fair”.

I have been trusted with a word of encouragement that “God is fair”.

Respect and honor towards people is important and good. However know exactly where the line is and don’t cross it.
