The location was Sydney, Australia. An influential member of the techno monarchy was born. His skill set and musical prowess would be discovered over 20 years later upon relocating to Austin, Texas. It was here, in the live music capital of the world, where industry protégé Christian Barbuto would fully realize his creative ability and duty to the underground. It didn’t take long for Barbuto to righteously find his place at the forefront of Austin’s club circuit. One may say the stars had aligned with the opening of Kingdom Night Club, Barbuto found himself standing tall in the DJ booth, further refining his skills behind the decks. After finishing the Amsterdam DJ School Dina started off by making music at various network/business events and clubs throughout the Netherlands, but also in the international DJ scene she has began to make a name for herself. Having rubbed shoulders with the who’s-who of the Australian Dance Music scene, our own glamour girl has certainly impressed all who have come across her. Building a repertoire of Main Room/Electro and Melbourne tunes, armed with her chic-attitude this dazzling energetic live performer leaves dance floors all around the country in awe. Earning highly esteemed residences at prestigious institutions such as Secret Garden, The Saint, Motel, Hotel Barkly and Cushion, Court has created her own following wherever she goes. Listing working alongside production powerhouse Chardy & supporting the likes of Potbellez, The Stafford Brothers, John Course and Grant Smillie, performing at Stereosonic and Future Music Festival as her prized achievements, Courtney has definitely set her sights for the future high! Starting out as a resident in Cambridge’s ‘Junction’ club, he nowadays travels to the most renowned clubs with hometurf being the ‘Escape’ club in Amsterdam. Referred to as Dash’s “finely tuned musical intuition” by the renowned We Rave You, and as “unquestionably talented guy who never fails to surprise” by music blog Groove Cartel, Pete as both DJ and Producer is spreading his name and stature like wildfire, ready to be “discovered across the globe”. Pete’s influence within the music industry has been both on- and off-screen, whilst also being involved as manager to several labels over recent years. However, given the explosive support with plays on Hardwell’s ‘Revealed Radio’ but also on Dutch Radio SLAM! FM, and moreover by Spotify’s iconic Austin Kramer adding his releases to key Spotify Playlists, Pete Dash has created an atmosphere where “fans are rolling his name off their tongue, around the world”.
