DTM Mohammed Murad, with his charming personality and crystal clear communication, presented many practical leadership lessons during his keynote address at Leadership Summit 2021. We caught up with this impressive individual, who retired as a colonel after a 20-year. 

Sadique Neelgund, a young and talented finance specialist, captivated the audience with his practical ideas. Our PR team member Jagriti spoke with this professional shortly after his speech at the Leadership Summit 2021, which was hosted by District105, Region 11 on June 19th, 2021

Magan Kalra's commanding stage presence and endearing baritones inspire many. His keynote was one of the highlights of the Leadership Summit 2021, which was held on June 19th, 2021 by District105, Region 11. A member of our Public Relations team Jagriti caught up with him for a quick chat.

Karyn Buxman, an inspiring international speaker, best-selling author, and neurohumorist, was a crowd favorite at the District 105 Leadership Summit on June 19, 2021. Soon after her talk, charismatic Karyn, who employs the art and science of applied humor to help people achieve peak performance and optimal health, had a brief chat with a member of our  District PR team: Jagriti 

Jessica Breitenfeld was one of the most sparkling speakers of Leadership Summit 2021 She is a bravery Trainer who inspires audiences with the universal theme - "Your world changes once you change” . 'YES' and she had a brief conversation with one of the members of our District 105 PR team shortly after her presentation on 19th June 2021.

Aletta Rochat was one of the key speakers of Leadership Summit 2021 that was conducted by District105, Region 11 on 19th of June 2021.  Our Public Relations team member had an interesting and insightful conversation with her soon after her speech

It is an excellent way of improving speaking skills and is particularly helpful in providing experience in developing a convincing argument. The role of the Trivia master is to listen intently to everything that is said during the meeting and 

to create five or six questions to ask the audience. These questions are intended to test the 

audience’s listening skills. 

This role provides the opportunity for all at the meeting to actively practice and test their 

listening skills. As the Trivia master, you lead the audience by exemplifying active listening. As 

the meeting progresses, jot down simple questions based on what was said or done, the 

content of any assignment or what was learned.

The most valuable aspect of Toastmasters is the evaluations they give and receive. In successful clubs, members support each other through evaluations that encourage speakers to continue practicing and learning. Members who receive thoughtful evaluations feel heard and become motivated to improve. 

Grammarian is a role at a Toastmasters meeting. As Grammarian, one need to make note of any incorrect grammar used by any speakers. Grammarian function as a part of the meeting's evaluation team and give a report at the end of the meeting of any incorrect and unique grammar used. The purpose of the Ah-Counter is to note any overused words or filler sounds used as a crutch by anyone who speaks during the meeting. Words may be inappropriate interjections, such as and, well, but, so and you know. Sounds may be ah, um or er. Our life is lived in seconds, so living a better life means figuring out how to use those seconds effectively.
