A quick look at Ephesians 3:20-21. Christ is able to do more than we could ever ask or think. I am so comforted by the fact that he is so near through His Spirit.

A quick look at Ephesians 2:19-22. God has saved us and is building us up together. I must seek to have good relationships with all believers in Christ and do what God has created me to do.

A quick look at Ephesians 1:11-12. God has given believers an eternal inheritance. I must live in light of what I have received in Christ.

A quick look at Mark 10:13-16. Jesus says that to enter into the kingdom of God we must be like children. I must not rely on myself for salvation, but come to God as a child in need of help.

A quick look at Mark 9:20-24. Jesus says that all things are possible for the one who believes. I must believe and trust that God is in control.

A quick look at Jonah 4:1-4. Jonah is angry with God's grace. I must seek even the salvation of my enemies and hope that God will save them.

A quick look at Jonah 3:6-10. Nineveh repents and the Lord saves them from disaster. The Lord always is willing to forgive, I must turn to him in everything.

A quick look at Jonah 2:1-2. Jonah cries out to the Lord and is heard. I must pray with an attitude of helplessness.

A quick look at Jonah 1:1-3. Jonah runs from the calling God put on his life. I must embrace God's calling on my life, for where he would have me go and for who he would have me be.

A quick look at Ruth 4:18-22. God uses the faithfulness of Ruth to bless many future generations. My life can be used by God not only for the now, but also for the future.

A quick look at Ruth 3:1-5. Naomi and Truth come up with a plan to pursue God's blessing. I must also strategically plan to seek righteousness in my life.

A quick look at Ruth 2:11-12. The news of Ruth's loving deed has reached Boaz and so he blesses her. She did not self-promote, but worked hard. I also must work hard and let others praise my work.

A quick look at Ruth 1:19-21. God is in control of every situation, even the hard ones. I must have faith and hope in Him.

A quick look at Acts 19:1-5. Paul needed to reteach the gospel to those in the Church. I cannot assume that everyone in church community is saved and much always go back to the gospel.

A quick look at Acts 18:24-28. Priscilla and Aquila quietly correct Apollos and he continues in fruitful ministry work. I must be known for graciousness and encouragement.

A quick look at Acts 17:6-7. Paul and Silas are turning the world upside down with the gospel. I can do the same through the power of the Holy Spirit and faithfulness in witnessing.

A quick look at Acts 16:25-30. Paul and Silas stay in prison even though they have an opportunity to leave. They see incredible fruit as the Jailer is saved. I can't look to only improve my temporal situation, but must look to improve other's eternal situation.

A quick look at Acts 15:36-41. Paul and Barnabas have a sharp disagreement and seperate. It is better to seek peace and only disagree when it really matters.

A quick look at Acts 14:15. The men wanted to worship Paul and Barnabas, but they told them to only worship the living God. I must not look to or follow the preacher, but God.

A quick look at Acts 13:42-43. The people were begging to hear more about Jesus. My heart must long for the preaching of God's Word too, because it in there is freedom!

A quick look at Acts 12:12-17. The prayer meeting a Mary's house prayed faithfully but not expectantly. My prayers must be expectant as well as faithful.

A quick look at Acts 11:22-24. Barnabas exhorts the Antioch church to be faithful and purposeful. I too must have faith and purpose in my life.

A quick look at Acts 10:9-16. God makes all things clean, I must share the gospel with everyone.

A quick look at Acts 9:15-19. Saul is radically transformed by the gospel and preaches it to others even in suffering. My live is transformed as well and I must share Christ regardless of the cost.

A quick look at Acts 8:34-38. Philip preaches the gospel and the Ethiopian eunuch is saved and baptized. The eunuch has such a strong desire to be obedient to God, I must have this desire as well.

A quick look at Acts 7:59-60. Stephen was prepared to share the gospel even though he wasn't a regular preacher. I also must be ready to share the hope that is within me.

A quick look at Acts 6:1-4. Serving in the church requires being filled with the Spirit and wisdom. I must search the Scriptures and have an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ to see fruitful ministry in my life.

A quick look at Acts 5:1-6. Ananias and Sapphira feared man more than God. I must seek the approval of God and fear Him.

A quick look at Acts 4:27-31. The Holy Spirit gives boldness through prayer. I must pray and share the Gospel with others.

A quick look at Acts 3:11-16. Peter heals a lame man and preaches the gospel. I must always point the attention to Christ and take every opportunity to share the Gospel.

A quick look at Acts 2:42-47. The Holy Spirit filled the disciples and they were devoted to the Bible, fellowship and prayer. I must be devoted to the things God blesses as well.

A quick look at Acts 1:6-9. Only the Father knows when Jesus will return, and until that day comes we are called to be witnesses of Jesus to the whole earth.

A quick look at Daniel 12:1-4. Those who are raised to everlasting life turn others to righteousness. I must be a disciple maker and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A quick look at Daniel 11:1-2a. Daniel speaks the truth to the King. I must speak the truth of the Gospel to everyone who will hear.

A quick look at Daniel 10:12. God hears our prayers and loves us. I must humble myself and seek to understand His Word.

A quick look at Daniel 9:15. God is able. I must read His Word, Pray, confess sin, and trust in His promise.

A quick look at Daniel 8:27. God is in control over world events, I must work hard at what God has given me to do.

A quick look at Daniel 7:13-14. God knows what the future holds and takes care of His people. Jesus will rule forever and I must trust he will care for me tomorrow.

A quick look at Daniel 6:10. God will lead and protect, I must pray in every circumstance.

A quick look at Daniel 5:22-23. I must learn for my own and others past sins. I cannot continue in sin, it will find me out.

A quick look at Daniel 4:27 - God is the ruler of heaven and all the earth, I must humble myself before Him.

A quick look at Daniel 2:46-48. God is the revealer of mysteries, he can help me in any situation.

A quick look at John 17:15-18. Jesus prays for me, I will be sanctified.

A quick look at John 16:12-15. The Holy Spirit guided the disciples to write the Word of God, He will guide me in the learning Word of God as well.

A quick look at John 15:5. Jesus is the vine, I must abide in him.

A quick look at John 14:18-20. Jesus does not leave us as Orphans, I can always call out to Him.

A quick look at John 13:3-5. Jesus is king and servant. I must be washed by Him.

A quick look at John 12:25. If I love this life I will lose it.

A quick look at John 11:35. Jesus cares for his followers. I must care like Jesus.

A quick look at John 10:27-28. Jesus the Good Shepherd is calling, I must believe and follow Him.
