Now that Republicans surrendered domestic policy to Biden, he has a free lane to mess with Israel’s sovereignty. Speaker Johnson (R-La.) once again massacred conservatives on Friday by reauthorizing an expanded version of FISA 702 spying, despite bipartisan support against it. He was the tie vote against requiring a warrant. Yet not only did Trump decline to pressure him, he gave Johnson complete cover at Mar-a-Lago. In addition, Trump held a press conference on Friday promoting Ukraine funding, bashing anti-abortion laws, opposing the motion to vacate the speakership, and promoting Obamacare. I warn that Trump is being compromised by a quest for wealthy donors and that if we don’t work to push him to the right, this dangerous leftward slide will accelerate. I also give baseline thoughts on Iran’s attack on Israel and how the Biden administration is working with Iran and even ordered the attack. First, we start out noting the progress we are making pushing immigration enforcement in red states and how we could do so much more if we only stayed focused. We need big solutions to serious problems. One area of vital importance in which we have yet to succeed in pushing red states into righteousness is interposing against FBI tyranny. We’re joined today by FBI whistleblower Steve Friend to explain his bill, Tennessee SB 2804/HB2912, which would give local sheriffs and police chiefs veto power over which cases their officers can work with the FBI. His bill was shot down, but if we push similar bills elsewhere, we will gain momentum. Friend gives the proper way to push this idea with local Republican officials. Friend himself is now suffering retaliation from the FBI, as the agency pulls his credit records for no reason. We also discuss how millions of liberals who believe our speech and beliefs are criminal are now calling the FBI to get them to investigate protected speech under the First Amendment. How have we gotten to the point where we are society of nothing but Neanderthals with iPhones? The state of Indiana is actually siding with the agency against Becket as they take the case to the Supreme Court. Last night, there were two electoral trends. In the Texas state House races, an unprecedented 17 incumbents were either defeated or drawn into runoffs. On the other hand, elsewhere in Texas and around the country, we saw a pretty generic pro-incumbent result. What gives? We’re joined today by Wade Miller, executive director of Citizens for Renewing America and longtime Texas grassroots activist, who interprets the results for us. He notes that we benefited from a perfect storm of well-placed candidates, the Paxton impeachment, and endorsements from Trump and Abbott on the side of the grassroots that was enough to create a sea change. This could happen elsewhere if we only tried to replicate it. However, in many states, that will require us to push more of a convention model for primaries. Either way, the lesson of Super Tuesday is that we get exactly what we fight for and no more. In fact, the Colorado ruling is nothing compared to how the non-Thomas/Alito judges are screwing us on issue after issue. All conservative media cares about is Trump and the general election. But we have 9.5 months left to this election, and now is the time to focus on the primaries. Yes, Trump is the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, but the primary is still going on. What is a primary? It means focusing on our own people. I’m not seeing any strategy to even win general elections, much less focus on legislative sessions or primaries. All we hear about is how Republicans are winning in the polls, even as they continue to lose any election. For those continuing to put their eggs in the basket of polls showing Trump ahead, I go back in time to review the average of all the polls headed into the 2022 elections. In every single instance, Republicans underperformed the polls by 4-6 points, and it made all the difference. There was one exception, of course. It’s tempting to just give up and ignore politics altogether, but you can’t ignore anarchy and tyranny. It will find us if we don’t come up with a plan to fortify red islands that are sanctuaries from both anarchy and tyranny.
