Raffensperger' voting system trial seeks to force Georgia ditch its costly, unverifiable and insecure touchscreen voting system statewide, and switch to verifiable hand-marked paper ballots at all polling places. The case spawned a landmark expert cybersecurity report that identified so many critical vulnerabilities in the system that the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued an advisory recommending that all jurisdictions using the same equipment to immediately apply security patches.
