For more than two decades, Milian has dispensed justice and provided legal insight in the courtroom where justice and reality collide. And now, you can take the show on the go with "The People’s Court Podcast." "The People’s Court Podcast" draws on ordinary people who have filed grievances in civil court and have opted to have their cases heard and mediated by Judge Milian. Running the gamut from disputes between neighbors and family members, to dissatisfied customers suing businesses, Milian's decisions – based on current law – are final and binding. Joining Milian is multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter Harvey Levin, who serves as the series’ host and legal reporter. In the courtroom, Milian is joined by court officer Douglas McIntosh. Doug Llewelyn interviews litigants after a decision has been rendered in their cases.

    The plaintiff says the defendant was a nightmare landlord. She claims she even lost her job because of him, so she’s suing him for $5,000. The defendant says the plaintiff got into tussles with the other neighbors, and he had to have her arrested for stealing when she stopped paying rent. He’s countersuing for unpaid rent and lawyers’ fees. The plaintiff says she and the defendant were friends for years and planned to head to Miami for her birthday. She bought a plane ticket for the defendant, but she backed out. The plaintiff is suing for her money back, plus cancellation fees. The defendant claims she never fully agreed to go because she had to check with work first to get the time off. Her boss wouldn’t let her off, so she didn’t go. The plaintiff says she bought a 1997 car with 173,000 miles on in from the defendant. She claims she was shocked to find out it was unsafe after she took it to a mechanic. She’s suing for her money back. The defendant says the plaintiff test drove it, negotiated the price, and bought it, and then called a week later to say she didn’t want it.     The plaintiff says he and the defendant have been friends for 30 years. He claims this careless man left the plaintiff’s dog in the back yard. The dog got out, got hit by a car, and died. His friend said he’d pay for the vet bill, but he backed out, so he’s suing him. The defendant claims he was visiting the plaintiff, who he says told him not to leave the dog in the house when he went out because the dog wasn’t potty trained. He feels bad, but the dog escaped through a faulty gate. The plaintiff says the defendant is her neighbor, who she says helped her out by paying the back taxes on her house. She claims he then made a pass at her and she rebuffed him. He then tossed all her items out of the house and even got rid of her dog. She’s suing for the value of her items. The defendant claims the deal was he would get the house if she didn’t pay him back, and he says she abandoned her things. He’s countersuing for back rent, taxes, and utility bills. The plaintiff says the defendant plowed into her parked car during a snowstorm and promised to pay for the damages. She claims he then disappeared and changed his number, but she tracked him down. She wants her money, and she’s suing for it. The defendant says she’s taking advantage of him. He claims the accident was minor, and he’s countersuing for his damages. The defendant claims the plaintiff used salt on her patio and broke the rocks, and he denies he’s done anything wrong. He also claims the plaintiff has had run-ins with several contractors. The plaintiff says the defendant is her boyfriend’s aunt. She claims she paid the defendant to add her to the defendant’s car insurance policy, but she took the plaintiff off after an argument with her nephew. She claims the bed even cracked in the middle of the night and she ended up on the floor, hurting her spine. She’s suing for a refund. The defendant says he sent a repairman right away and even ordered a new bed leg from the manufacturer yet she’s still suing. The plaintiff says he rented a room from the defendant, but he had to move out because the environment was so hostile. He claims the defendant’s nephew threatened him. He’s suing for his security deposit , plus pain and suffering. The defendant says the plaintiff was a complete slob, so he kept the money to clean up the place.     The plaintiff says he asked the defendant to marry him and gave her a ring. Soon after, she said the father of her child was moving in with her because he had no home and they ended up breaking up. He wants the ring back, so he’s suing. The defendant alleges the plaintiff was a cheater who was still married when he proposed. She’s countersuing for pain and suffering. The plaintiff says he brought his 2002 Ford Explorer to the defendant’s car wash, but it came out of the machine with damage. When he complained, he says the defendant told him he wasn’t responsible because it looked like the broken part had been glued on. He’s suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant says the plaintiff caused a scene and swore at his employees. He claims the broken panel was already loose and caulked on. The plaintiff says she moved from Pittsburgh to New York and rented an apartment from the defendant. She claims the place was a disaster and should have been condemned for mold, bare sockets, and more. The defendant won’t return her money, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff and her daughter drove to New York, saw the place, and loved it. She claims the plaintiff is a loon who broke the lease, so she’s entitled to keep the money.
