Maggie, a beauty influencer, found herself in the clutches of a cyberstalker whose identity remained shrouded in mystery. Following the launch of her online beauty venture, Maggie was inundated with sexually explicit messages and manipulated images of her face inserted into lewd photographs. Despite the stalker's demands for nude photos in exchange for ceasing the harassment, Maggie steadfastly ignored him. The situation took a darker turn when the stalker created a fake Instagram profile mirroring one of Maggie's friends. He infiltrated her live online beauty show, exposing himself to her unsuspecting followers. Faced with this escalating harassment, Maggie and her husband sought assistance from a Private Detective, transforming into amateur sleuths on a mission to unveil the identity of Maggie's tormentor. Katie was cyberstalked after accepting a Facebook friend request from a woman she had never met in person. Initially, their messages were amicable, but they soon dove into personal topics, including emotional and mental struggles. Tension escalated when Katie started receiving messages from the woman’s boyfriend, expressing concerns about their relationship. When Katie advised him to leave if he felt it was toxic, she triggered the woman’s retaliation. After meeting this woman one evening for drinks, Libby sensed warning signs and attempted to maintain an online-only relationship. However, as their friendship progressed, it became evident that toxicity had infiltrated even their virtual exchanges. Taking measures to protect herself, Libby chose to block the individual. Helena has become the target of a relentless stalker who obtained her social media handle.  Upon connecting online, he inundated her with disturbing messages. She told him to never contact her again and blocked him. Despite her warnings, he created fake accounts, subjecting Helena to harassment, terrorizing her, and issuing threats of violence, including threats to kill her and set her house ablaze. Fearing for her safety, Helena reached out to the police, but the stalking persisted. Eventually, the situation became so dire that she had no choice but to relocate from her neighborhood to escape the ongoing threat. Cara was targeted and stalked by a man she had encountered on the internet, with their interactions being solely online and over the phone.  After a few conversations, Cara told the man she was no longer interested and blocked him. Frustrated by his inability to reach Cara, the stalker impersonated law enforcement. Through this ruse, he obtained Cara's personal information from her wireless phone service provider.  Armed with this data and her personal information, he continued to harass Cara, as well as her family, coworkers, and friends. He sent them inappropriate photos of her, issued death threats, and even drove across state lines to show up at her house. Kalie is being stalked by her ex-boyfriend, who impersonated a medical professional to try and kidnap her daughter. After Kalie and her boyfriend broke up, she married a man in the military the following year. Her ex, also in the military, impersonated a medical professional to get her and her new husband's contact information. When her ex found them, he threatened to kidnap Kalie's child and do DNA testing to see if the child was his. She was able to keep him away from her child, but her ex called nonstop and had people follow her and drive past her house. Kalie was eventually granted a restraining order by the military police but continues to live in fear over her ex's access to weapons and his history of unstable behavior. Lucy Walsh is being stalked by a stranger who hitchhiked from Minnesota to Los Angeles to marry her. He showed up at her father's house first, but when that didn't work, he found her address online and showed up there. When he couldn't break in, he built a shrine to Lucy in her front yard and left a note saying he'd be back. After Lucy alerted her family's security, they sent her to a hotel where she was placed under 24/7 surveillance. The stalker repeatedly showed up at her home, snuck through her security gate, wrote her name on cardboard signs, threw things onto her balcony, and created more shrines on her property. Ty James was stalked by a woman who refused to take no for an answer. Ty is a single dad and social media content creator who met a woman through an online dating app. After a few dates, he ended things, but she couldn't accept it and sent him hundreds of messages and called him nonstop until he blocked her. Clara was stalked in college by a student who catfished her. Clara befriended a student who lived down the hall in her dorm who told her that her guy friend from back home was interested in meeting. This guy friend and Clara started texting, but she noticed the guy would never respond when her friend wasn’t around, and things didn’t add up. Searching on Facebook, Clara found the guy and reached out to him, soon finding out her friend had been impersonating him. He knew of Clara’s friend and was disturbed that she told Clara private details about his life and that she had been stalking him and impersonating him. Clara told her dorm RA, which led to a dramatic confrontation and resulted in the other girl having to move.
