  • 937 - Farewell Jurgen Klopp, goodbye Premier League season and so long VAR?

    Jimbo is joined in the studio by Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and Sasha Goryunov ahead of the final weekend of the Premier League. Man City go 2 points clear of Arsenal with victory at North London neighbours Spurs, to the glee of some Tottenham fans but not Ange Postecoglou. Can West Ham do the Gunners a favour on Sunday? Aston Villa qualify for the Champions League while Chelsea are looking well set to reach the Europa League, although Mauricio Pochettino also doesn’t seem happy. Jurgen Klopp manages Liverpool for the very last time as we look at his legacy and some of the moments that helped forged such a tight bond with the Anfield faithful. We may also be saying goodbye to VAR if Premier League clubs decide to vote against it this summer. But would we just want it back the following season?     Jimbo welcomes Daniel Storey, Adrian Clarke and JJ Bull into the pod after the penultimate weekend of this Premier League season. A nervy Arsenal rely on their defensive steel to overcome Arsenal at Old Trafford, guaranteeing the title race will go down to the last day. Now they need a favour from rivals Tottenham who host the seemingly unstoppable Man City on Tuesday. It was the weekend where Burnley, and almost certainly Luton, were relegated straight back to the Championship. Hear why we were so disappointed in the Clarets and the Hatters. Chelsea look like they’ve finally clicked under Pochettino, with European football a real possibility.
