I started thinking about today, Christmas Day, and the deeper meaning - and I draw parallels in the way collectors are sometimes "religious" about this sports card hobby.

Besides grading the card, what other logistical concerns arise in the grading process - both internal and external - I try to address some of these concerns for a serious collector who contacted me directly.

First World Series Championship ever for the Rangers - so how might this effect their card values going forward - is this a dynasty? - and what about those Diamondbacks!

Why has the National not historically released attendance figures especially now as the event (and the sports card hobby) is really on a roll?  Could there be a time in the future that Pre-Rookie Cards surpass major league RC's?

Society is rapidly moving away from cash in terms of paying for stuff, including sports cards, which would really crimp my style as I prefer cash for buying.  But there are "good" reasons for sellers to prefer cash as well.

My first card show that I co-promoted with old friend Gervise Ford may have also been the first show I even attended - Rich had apparently always been wanting to ask me about that.  Thanks Rich.

Rich and I had a question from Kyle (not Kyle Robertson) about how to promote and run a smaller sports card show.  I guess anybody can try to do it, but it's not as easy as it may look.
