- 17 - Episode 17: Beating Spurs
On this episode, we relive Arsenal's 3-1 victory over our North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium. A very entertaining first half blitz gave us some much needed bragging rights over Spurs. In theory, this type of performance should see us kick on this season and go on a run. Much of the unwanted pressure from losing the opening 3 games for Arteta has somewhat subsided but performances like this will surely increase the demands over the coming games.
With Brighton and Crystal Palace on the horizon, we've come away with more points than I expected and lets hope the climb up the table continues!

On this episode, we relive Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor & our progress through to the next round in the Carabao Cup. All in all, a very scrappy match highlighted by a moment of brilliance by our Norwegian in midfield.
Unfortunately, our victory over AFC Wimbledon was not televised so we only have the highlights package to work with - No player ratings too.
Some controversial hot takes from the Burnley match in preparation for Spurs. With hindsight, it was a mix bag!
With our second win in the league secured + progress to the 4th round of the Carabao Cup, it's been a good week supporting Arsenal.

Thu, 16 Sep 2021 - 55min - 13 - Episode 13: A 6-0 Perspective
On this episode, we relive Arsenal's 6-0 victory in the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup away to West Brom. A first hat trick for Aubameyang since February of this year as well as our customary player ratings for the match.
It was a debut to remember for Aaron Ramsdale in goal as he made some smart stops, distributed well, and kept a clean sheet.
From the champions of Europe, to the Champions of England. Our next league game against Manchester City is going to be a tough one as we look for our first goal and points in the Premier League.
Away trips to the Etihad have not been kind to us with our last victory coming in 2015 - Courtesy of a Santi masterclass in midfield.
Fingers crossed Arsenal will be able to hold out City's attack and hit them on the break as effectively as we did against West Brom.

On this episode, we discuss all the major talking points from Arsenal's defeat at home to Chelsea in week 2 of the Premier League.
An action packed second London derby for Arsenal that included a second debut goal for Lukaku, tactical naivety, and a penalty that wasn't given to Arsenal but will 100% be given to another team next week.
We preview our second round League Cup tie against West Brom that on the surface must be a must win game for Arteta before wrapping up the podcast with the player ratings.
With that being said, grab your teh tarik and enjoy the episode!
Wed, 25 Aug 2021 - 47min - 11 - Episode 11: A Chelsea Preview
On this episode, I'll be previewing Arsenal's first league match at the Emirates Stadium this season against Chelsea. I suspect Arteta might choose to line up with a back 3 in this game along with my score prediction.
Arsenal completed the signings of Martin Ødegaard from Real Madrid along with Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United.
Without many tangible rumours since the last episode, Quick Fire Transfer Rumours this episode is a little short.
Nevertheless, lets hope Arsenal are capable of three points against the champions of Europe.

To round the episode off, I'll be giving you my player ratings for the match.
A disappointing start to the new Premier League season but we did expect a tough start to the season. The Transfer Window is open until the end of the month so will there still be hope? We'll have to wait and see.

Wed, 21 Jul 2021 - 39min - 7 - Episode 7: Season Recap
On this episode, we'll be recapping Arsenal's 2020-2021 season in the Premier League and in Europe. We talk about the standout performances from the 38 games played in the league as well as some games to forget.
Sadly, finishing 8th place and crashing out of the Europa League to Unai Emery's team means Arsenal will be without European football for the first time in 25 years.
And as always, we end the episode off with the player ratings (for the season).
The pressure is well and truly on for Mikel Arteta next season with little to no excuses. It's been awhile since the last episode but this was certainly a trip down memory lane that was not pleasant!
Update: Matteo Guendouzi has completed a loan move to Marseille with an obligation to buy at the end of next season - All the best to you!

Thu, 08 Jul 2021 - 1h 22min - 6 - Episode 6: Man City v Arsenal
On this episode, I discuss the major talking points in our defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Yet again Arsenal were denied a refereeing decision by VAR but can we really complain seeing as what else happened over the weekend? Yes.
Anyway the player ratings is sandwiched in between the game review as well as a round up of Arsenal news including our Europa League campaign and squad submission list controversies. A small mention goes out to Arsene Wenger with the launch of his autobiography too!

Very much polar opposite games with numerous controversial refereeing decisions in the league contrasted to a dull affair in the Carabao Cup. We did our best.
Arsenal have registered their first defeat of the season in the league - there goes our unbeaten chances, and we get drawn with Manchester City in December.
