It is the soundscape of a life dedicated to discovering the best new music from the indie, alternative and electro genres.
On The Breakdown, you will hear a vast array of tunes. While primarily leaning towards indie rock, indie pop, and synth-driven 80's style electro; there are moments of harder rock, house, and even the odd piano ballad. The content on the Breakdown focuses predominantly on very new music, however there will always be the occasional throwback to a brilliant moment in recent musical history.

The Indie Electro Breakdown has been continuously running since early 2011, providing a constant source of reliably high quality new music for a dedicated core of followers that is always growing in number. It has had a home on multiple radio stations across two continents, and also has a solid online presence, with a standalone website, YouTube channel with over 2300 subscribers, and a Spotify channel.

On The Breakdown, you will hear a vast array of tunes. While primarily leaning towards indie rock, indie pop, and synth-driven 80's style electro; there are moments of harder rock, house, and even the odd piano ballad.

Big thank you to my nephew Gabe, and niece Vivi for coming along and sharing their insights into the best music of the first half of 2022. They did so well, and as always, I’m so proud of them. The Breakdown takes a hiatus for the next month while I go off to paradise for a little while. See you on the other side xx
