  • 317 - Isaac Peach: Creating World Champions from a shed in West Auckland

He's the man in the pink jandals, and he's well and truly in your corner...or their corner anyway. I'm chatting with former boxer, no trainer, Isaac Peach. He's got a high profile stable of West Auckland fighters that are taking the boxing world by storm. Peach Boxing is the home of world champ Mea Motu.

So, how do you train and become a World Champ from a garage in West Auckland? What is Isaac Peach doing different to other gyms? Are they on the verge of something very special?

This is a raw, honest, and emotional chat that you do not want to miss. Let's go!

  • 316 - Slam Dunc: Rip off that red tape and bananas!

The red tape around building in this country is keeping us out of pocket, slowing us down, choking our families, and choking our economy. We look like snails in comparison to Australia - it took under 6 months for me to build a house in Australia, whereas here, on average it takes 600 days, almost 2 years! No wonder it costs twice as much here as it does there...

It's not about removing safety measures, it's about removing the un-justifiable barriers that are getting in the way of progress.

Let's break the shackles of 'red tape' in this country and let's go for it.

  • 315 - Slam Dunc: I love rugby, but...

Rugby is our "national game". Personally, I love it. I've grown up playing the game, watching it, and my son plays now too. But there's something not quite right at the moment...

They join me today to talk about the charity, how you can help, NZ Music Month (this month), as well as many stories from Joel about writing & producing for the worlds best. We're talking Taylor Swift, Niall Horan, Sam Smith, and of course Lorde, just to name a few.

Most of all, today in NZ Music T-Shirt day. You can support this cause by wearing a t-shirt of your favourite Kiwi artist and by texting MUSIC to 2448 for an instant donation.
