[Josué Mattos was born in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, Brazil, in 1982. He's an art historian and cuartor. Atualmente trabalha como professor assistente em curadoria e imagem em movimento na Queen's University, em Kingston, Canadá. É autor e organizador de diversas publicações sobre imagem e tecnologia lançadas no Brasil e no exterior. Seu livro mais recente é “Practices of projection: histories and technologies” (Oxford University Press, 2020), co-editado com Virginia Crisp.
