Great Defense in 4th and power hitting in the bottom 6th inning helped the South Bend Cubs overcome a 1 to 0 deficient to beat the Quad Cities River Bandits by the score of 7 to 4. In the top of the 4th inning the Cubs has two back to back web gems to stop the Bandits scoring chances, Parker Chavers in outfield and Pedro Ramirez in the infield. South Bend Cubs scored six times in 6th inning powered by Parker Chavers home run that scored Jonathon Long.

Shut out Victory for the South Bend Cubs: Three pitchers combined to only give up three hits whilke striking out 10 Quad Cities River Bandits batters.  Brody McCullough pitced four great inning followed by Sam Armstrong who piched all the way until two outs in 9th where Chase Watkins got the final out of the game. Shortstop and celebrating his 19th Birthday Jefferson Rojas had two hits with two runs batted in, he currently hitting an outstanding .338 for the season. Jonathon Long hits a two run homerun in 1st inning help the Cubs build a 5 to 0 lead in the first inning. South Bend wins the game 6 to 0.
