The defendant says she gave her ex $500 to cover it, and she insists the accident was just a fender bender. The plaintiff says he and his stepfather rented a space from the defendant for 10 years to use as a fishing shop. It closed when his stepfather passed away, but now the defendant won’t return his security deposit, so he’s forced to sue.
