Prodigy went out with a bang! Forrest and Katie join us as we discuss Janeways, Hologram or otherwise, and how the crew of the Protostar warmed our hearts.

NACELLES AFTER DARK! SO MANY SHIPS! Prodigy has been such a great show and we are so happy it is ending with a two-parter, even if that cliff hanger leaves us salivating. Barez, Forrest and Katie join us to discuss where we think Part 2 is going to go, what we hope to see out of the crew of the Protostar, and why Prodigy works as both a kids show and good Trek.

We dive into The Orville with Michael and Stacy, swapping our Vulcans and Klingons for Kaylons and Moclans. All jokes aside, this show rules in all the best ways. Issac deactivates randomly and the crew of the Orville must travel to the Kaylon homeworld to see if he can be rebooted, but turns out, whoopsie, they want to destroy all those pesky humans. We look at this episode from a philosophical and psychological standpoint while falling in love with a whole new crew.

This week we are covering the Prodigy mid season finale! We unpack a lot here, from Gywn's trauma, Rok-Tahk becoming a great engineer, Dal being a big purple himbo and of course, that teaser featuring ADMIRAL FRICKEN JANEWAY! Forrest airs some greviances about lack of Merf-andise, Katie loves that Janeway is dedicated to her crew and we all fall in love with Grjördslat and Trodo, the best ship on this show.

Prodigy is doing it's mid season break with a two-parter! It ends in a very abrupt manner, but it will only be a problem for exactly 7 days. Dal and the Crew combine all of the lessons learned so far and decide to go rescue all of the other children from the Diviner, only for the Diviner to take the Protostar from them in a trade. Luckily, Murf likes to eat so many Proto-Cores. Forrest and Katie join us to talk Murf, Rok-Tahk, what we want for Prodigy merch and how incredibly hot Goth Janeway is.

NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER! We take a look at the best Star Trek to never Trek. It is hard to say why this movie is so good because it is just so good. Rickman gives a performance of a life time, Weaver comes from Sci-Fi Royalty to play a Bridge Bunny, heck we even show some praise to Tim Allen! Forrest, Katie and Stacy join us to discuss the away mission, the set design, the creature design, and of course, the satire.

We dive into the ultimate two-parter, so big that they had to make a movie about it. Ricardo Montalbán just shows up and steals everything, from crew members of the Enterprise to Chekov's free will, and we are here for it. We gush about everyones performances, director's cuts versus theatrical cuts, and of course, those gorgeous uniforms.

Star Trek gets its first series aimed directly at kids, and us adults absolutely love it. From the music to the character design, we break it all down in the name of our new phaser god Murf. It was incredibly smart to not have Janeway overshadow the new cast in this episode, but ultimately it just left us all wanting more Prodigy!

We have reached the edge of the map! Here is our quick little plan for covering modern Star Trek. If there is a two-parter, in which one episode ends with 'To Be Continued...' and the following episode starts with 'Previously on...', or if there is a pair of episodes titled EPISODE NAME HERE 1 and EPISODE NAME HERE 2, we will be covering it! Split episodes will be covered in two podcasts, while dual-aired episodes, like the Prodigy Pilot, will be covered in one episode. AHHHH! IT HAPPENED! Season 2 of Lower Decks ended with a "To Be Continued...", so of course we covered it, from the thicc queen that is the USS Archimedes, the Cerritos showing a little leg to save the day, the return of a beloved TNG character and... whales. Forrest and Stacy join us and try to break down everything we loved about this episdoe!

We finally made it to the last 2-parter! We discuss all things Picard, from Rios to Raffi to Soji and everything in between. Seven of Nine shows up and has aged incredibly well, we make a connection to the Power Rangers and most importantly, we finally give Data the send of he deserves.

MICHELLE YEOH EPISODE YAY!!! Dylan and Michael are here to talk space nazi-sim as we traverse to the Mirror Universe. We dive a lot into the politics of the mirror universe, like how do you run an empire that is built on backstabbing? How cool is it to actually see someone get stabbed at an Opera?! We also dive deep into the pros and cons of what makes things canon and how that can effect story telling. We also discuss, of course, surprise cameo by David Cronenberg and the weird doughnut rock known as The Guardian of Forever.

What is this... a 3rd part to a classic TNG Two-Parter!? For this we travel to Ni'Var, or Vulcan if ya' nasty, to... sit in a conference room with the crew of the Discovery? There is a lot to unpack here, about 1000 years worth of lore, and it is mostly glossed over to build up the character of Michael Burnham. The B plot finds Tilly trying to figure out if she is First Officer Material. There is lots to love about this episode, but Michael and Sara bring wit to discuss things like "How do you have a galactic civilization without Warp Travel?", "Would the Romulans be considered refugees?" and of course... "Are the Matrix sequels good!?"

We are blasting through wormholes to get the 31st century! Programmable matter! THE BURN! The United Federation of Planets is in hiding and scattered to the winds! Michael and Steph join us to talk empaths, why this is time travel done right, and most importantly, who is the best cat in Star Trek: Spot or Grudge!?

We have tracked all of the mysterious signals to the Season 2 finale of Discovery! We talk about how hot Captain Pike is, how the fun noises on the Enterprise bridge give us beeps and express some disappointment in how Season 2 handled some of its cast, while elevating others beyond that of additional flavoring. Tilly is still the best.

We finally made it to modern era Trek, And it is... interesting to say the least. Forrest tries to reconcile the Klingons with the overall Trek timeline, while Dylan breaks down shot work and cinematography. Meanwhile, Ryan and Caitlin just want to know where they can get more Michelle Yeoh in their lives and why the marketing for Discovery Season 1 is so different than the final product.

All hail the glorious Terran Empire! Everyone is stabbing everyone in the back in the this love letter to fans of all things Trek. We discuss Gorn, the original Defiant, crop tops, men in skirts and oh so much more. This pair of episodes even has a throw back to a TOS Episode! Finally, we talk about why the Mirror Universe isn't just important to Star Trek, but to genre fiction as a whole. The ultimate question though: What does the Vulcan Science Directorate think about the possibilities of alternate universes?! 

Jump aboard the spaceship that couldn't stop! The only way to stop it? Call the ship in dry dock, merge your warp fields, go inverted and trade Chief Engineers? Derek and Stacy join us as we discuss a fantastic Klingon centric two-parter that features none other than James Avery! Plus, we dive into the pros and cons to Trip and T'Pol, and what exactly makes Archer great.

JEFFREY COMBS!!! SCOTT BAKULA!!! The only thing this is missing is a shuttle pod that conveniently only has one bed and a busted heater. There are also Romulans afoot? Brent Spiner is back and is playing Arik Soong! But does a surprise cameo save this storyline and episodes? Not really! We've got Orion's, Augments, pending Wrath, and we try to figure out how an Astrolabe would work in space.

What if First Contact was made for TV and had Nazi's instead of James Cromwell? We are joined by Michael and Steph to talk about why this episode is kind of a let down and a wet fart ending to the temporal cold war, what we loved about Season 3 of Enterprise, and, of course, what the Vulcan Science Directorate thinks about Time Travel.

Michael and Steph join us for a rousing discussion on why T'Pol is great and Trip kinda sucks (for now). In this episode, for some reason Hoshi gets her top ripped off and Bakula delivers a drop kick through time. We also explore how the Pon'Far works, why Time Travel and prequels don't, and why Enterprise seems like a bunch of missed opportunities.

First things first: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!! We ask the age old question: Do Klingon's celebrate Pride? (Yes) Would Quark deck out his bar in Rainbows? (Yes) Is there mountains of sexual energy between the Borg Queen and Janeway? (Of course!) Steph, Katie and Forrest take us to an alternate reality where Harry Kim is important, Paris' hairline is receding and Janeway is fixing problems to keep both Chakotay and Seven of Nine alive.

We also round out our overall feelings on Voyager, the missed opportunities, the joy, and why we all have a crush on fierce women in power.

Everything comes down to labor on this weeks episode. This really just Voyagers version of Measure of a Man, but this one ends with Robert Picardo using the BFG. Dylan and Forrest join us for one of our last trips to the Delta Quadrant.

We are exploring the mind of Borg Drones Matrix style this week! Forrest and Katie join us as we deep dive into our digital psyche and figure out how many Borg it takes for Seven of Nine to grow a spine and tell the Borg Queen to get fucked. Voyager finally begins to ramp up with Basics, including a slight detour into... all of the roles Star Trek folks have voiced in video games? Just kidding, this episode isn't exclusively about that.

Lon Sudar. Wow. What else can we say. Brad Dourif brings this performance to life and really shines in this two-parter in a way we haven't seen before. Janeway really shows her stuff in this episode, but for some reason can't bring herself to leave Neelix stranded on a planet with no way to escape.

We have finally made it to the Delta Quadrant, and we have a whole new crew to get introduced to! We got Janeway: the best captain ever, the EMH: the sassy doctor, Chakotay: the no non-sense first officer, Tuvok: the level headed security officer, Ensign Harry Kim: the eager eyed boy wonder, B'Elanna Torres: the badass engineer, Kes: a local rescue who just needs some love, Neelix: the guide to lead them home!

AND ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE. NO WHITE BOYS FALLING UP, RESCUED FROM A PRISON COLONY WORKING OUT THEIR DADDY ISSUES.

We did it, we finally made it to the series finale of Deep Space 9. Netflix lists this as a 9 parter, which is just bonkers, but also illustrates the serialized nature of DS9 compared to other Treks. We are all just so full of emotions from not just the core cast, but the secondary cast as well. Long live General Martok!!

The Dominion War has finally come to the Alpha Quadrant! There are mines in front of the Wormhole! Jem'Hadar don't drink and Quark misses the Federation! THE ENTIRE QUADRANT HAS GONE CRAZY!! Also, is Morn the best son ever, never misses a birthday that guy, even in the middle of a Cardassian occupation.

Anyone can be a changeling now?!?! Worf and Garak go on a field trip to discover Doctor Bashir was replaced with a changeling a month ago while he was off at a Space Doctors Conference with Space Pharma Girls. While Bashir was away his changeling participated in all sorts of evil doings... using the last roll of toilet paper without replacing it, draining all of the smoke detector batteries, using the free sandwich punch card at Quarks. Truly vile things. While at a Jem'Hadar internment camp, Worf joins a fight club and Garak deals with his daddy issues.

In this weeks episode we take a trip to Earth to see if the changelings really are invading. But really, we all just want to talk about how we should take a trip down to New Orleans for some damn good food. Also, why does Colm Meaney have so much fun playing alternate O'Breins?

Season 4 starts by bringing Worf back from TNG! But now he is... still conflicted about his inner Klingon. This episode is a testament to great writing and how you can work exposition into character development, and honestly we love it. Also, DS9 gets an upgrade: Fuck You Laser Mode. PEW PEW PEW.

Odo and Garak go on a field trip, with a slight detour through the torture zone. Avery Brooks puts on his director hat and nails it. We also discuss the best way to design TV, either short seasons with no filler, or 26 episodes that take 9 months to finish.

We time travel to the far off year of... 2024? We discuss homelessness, technology access, physical appearance and so much more this week. This is truly an example of why Deep Space Nine shines after all these years. Oh, and Miles O'Brien sees a sex van.

Today we get to talk about everyone's favorite Founder finding his home: Odo! Season 3 opens up with the introduction of Eddington, a brand spanking new ship in the Defiant and a field trip to the Gamma Quadrant.

Also, are the four best words ever in Star Trek History "Directed by Johnathan Frakes". We think not.

What we thought would give some great insight to our eventual adventure to the Delta Quadrant turned out to be... kinda lackluster? But it is okay! A road trip with Uncle Sisko and Uncle Dukat save a rather basic episode from boredom. We also compare DS9 to all sorts of fun failed restaurants.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of 3 Star 3 Trek, because the DS9 production crew decided to start Season 2 with a 3-parter instead of a 2-parter. In this episode, we learn how to ask everyone's favorite space dad for a runabout, the cost of getting weapons from your enemies, and how to properly store and transport your Gold-Pressed Latinum during a firefight. Too big for 2 episodes, we are coming at you covering three.

We take a look at the first two episodes of Deep Space Nine, but with a cast this hot it might as well be called Deep Space Fiiiiiiine. This pilot sets the stage for a Star Trek series like no other, doing a lot of heavy character lifting that touches on nearly every character in the ensemble cast, instead of just focusing on one our two characters. Picard even stops by for the ceremonial handing off of the torch!

Oh, and there is a lot of baseball, which is great.

This episode brings us to the end of The Next Generation. Picard is his own ghost of chirstmas, and he has to save humanity. We also talk about... Ships! Nacelles! Data's Homework!

On a more serious note, The Next Generation means a lot to us as Trek fans, and looking back on The Next Generation now, it is clear that it has aged like the finest of wines.

Jullian Bashir decided to hijack the Enterprise with a mysterious device from the Gamma Quadrant, leading Data down a David Lynch style nightmare, while Worf decides to fly to the other side of the galaxy in the hopes of finding his Dad. But, will Worf be able to get the youth vote in a weird Descendants style Romulan POW Camp?

It is time to meet the greatest Starfleet Captain ever, Edward Jellico, who unlocks the full potential of the Enterprise by... going from 3 shifts a day to 4? How many people does it take to crew a starship exactly, and who is Steve on Comms? Deep down, the HR person inside of us is all proud.

This is also the pair of episodes where we get to see Sir Patrick Stewart's Full Moon illuminated by four, maybe five, lights.
