The Earth has five major oceans, but there is one that most sailors avoid at all costs. It is the Southern Ocean, also known as the Antarctic Ocean, and it is the most dangerous and inhospitable ocean on the planet. In this video, we'll show you why the Southern Ocean is so terrifying and what challenges and risks it poses to those who dare to venture into it. #brightside #brightsideglobal TIMESTAMPS: 0:01 The new ocean 08:10 Why the border between the 2 oceans is so visible 17:30 What if all oceans dried up? • 7394 - Soon We'll Bring Back Ancient Creatures

Glaciers aren't just big old chunks of ice; they're like icy time capsules hiding some seriously cool stuff. Scientists have found ancient artifacts like perfectly preserved bodies, tools, and even entire aircraft buried in glaciers. It's like stumbling upon a frozen treasure trove! And these finds aren't just from, like, a few decades ago; we're talking thousands of years back in time. Plus, glaciers can hold clues about Earth's history, like how the climate used to be way back when. So, next time you're hiking up a glacier, keep your eyes peeled—you never know what kind of ancient wonders might be lurking beneath the ice! #brightside Animation is created by Bright Side. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music from TheSoul Sound: https://thesoul-sound.com/ Listen to Bright Side on: Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/0hUkPxD... • 7393 - 12 Terrifying Creatures That Live In Volcanoes

The water around the undersea volcanoes is really harsh and acidic, but some species have found a way to live near or inside hydrothermal vents. A special type of shrimp from the dark depths of the ocean has adapted to grazing the bacterial filaments. In fact, undersea volcanoes provide three very important life-sustaining elements in those areas - minerals, hot water, and bacteria. When a group of researchers took adequate equipment and managed to leave their camera in the hot acidic waters for an hour, they had no idea they were going to find sharks! They were hiding in the deep, orange, murky waters around the Solomon Islands’ submerged Kavachi. #brightside Attribution according #35: Credit: Dense mass of the anomuran crab Kiwa: By A. D. • 7392 - First Time Travel Experiment Succeeded

In 2022, a couple of scientist squads from Oxford and Vienna pulled off a real mind-bender. They did this experiment where they split up a photon using some fancy crystal mojo. And get this: the photon ended up cruising through both the past and the future at the same time! It's like time travel, but with a twist—'cause, ya know, there are always exceptions to the rule. But hey, it's still pretty darn cool to think about, right? Makes you wonder what other crazy stuff's out there waiting to be discovered! Credit: CC BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
