Josh was raised in San Francisco in a secular, Sephardic Jewish home. His family, like many others in the Bay area, were cause-oriented. That “activist” foundation drew him to Jews for Jesus as a young Jewish follower of Yeshua.

Today, Sofaer works as the director of staff development with Jews for Jesus. He has a BA in history from Brooklyn College and a MA and ThM (in process) from Western Seminary. He and his wife have two children, and currently reside in Los Angeles.

Jeff talks with Tamir Kugman, an Israeli believer in Jesus, about a biblical prophecy that’s being fulfilled right before our very eyes! Tamir Kugman was born in Israel and grew up in a secular Jewish family. At the age of 21, while working as an animator for the Israeli Defense Forces, Kugman realized that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. After receiving a BA in special education and an MA in learning disabilities, he worked as a special education teacher and administrator.

In 2019, Kugman felt a new professional calling. He began working with Jews for Jesus, using his passion for art and education to tell others about Yeshua. Today, he, his wife, and their five children live in Tel Aviv.

Jeff talks with Tamir Kugman, an Israeli believer in Jesus, about why—despite what many may assume—faith in Jesus isn’t idol worship. Tamir Kugman was born in Israel and grew up in a secular Jewish family. At the age of 21, while working as an animator for the Israeli Defense Forces, Kugman realized that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. After receiving a BA in special education and an MA in learning disabilities, he worked as a special education teacher and administrator.

Jeff talks with Tamir Kugman, an Israeli believer in Jesus, and former IDF soldier about how he came to believe in Jesus as Messiah. Tamir Kugman is on staff with Jews for Jesus in Tel Aviv and works in the media department. He was born in Israel, and though he is from a secular Jewish family, he kept many Jewish traditions. Tamir came to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) at the age of 21 during his army service, where he worked as an animator for the Isreali Defence Force.

He is currently the only believer in his family. After receiving a BA in special education and an MA in learning disabilities, he worked as a public school special education teacher and as the assistant manager at a Messianic school.

Over the last two decades, Tamir has taught the Bible to children, youth, and adults, both in camps and in a congregational setting. In 2019, Tamir felt a new call, and began serving with Jews for Jesus.

Tamir is passionate about using his artistic talents to teach about Jesus.. Tamir is married to Hadas and they have five children.

Jeff talks with Jews for Jesus COO Dan Sered, who returned to Israel amidst the war to bring help and hope to those who need it most. As you listen to his story today, pray that those who are suffering would lift their eyes to the God of Israel, and receive His peace, comfort, and hope. Dan Sered was born in Israel to a secular Jewish family and grew up in New York, where he attended Stony Brook University. It was there that he met Dinah, a Jewish believer in Jesus who showed him how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah. Dan became a follower of Jesus and decided to marry Dinah!

Soon after, Dan and Dinah came on staff with Jews for Jesus. Dan received his M.A. in Ministry and Leadership from Western Seminary and his D. Min. in Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. In 2006, Dan became the Israel Director, and in 2019, was appointed to his current role as COO. Today, Dan, Dinah, and their three children reside in New Jersey.

Jeff talks with Jews For Jesus Communications Director Arielle Randle about what it looks like to be both 100% Jewish and 100% Christian, and how that’s even possible!

As Marc Stein puts it, he grew up as a “very typical Jewish kid in LA.” But, as he gained success in business, life became anything but typical. It wasn’t until a series of personal and professional failures, that he recognized the need for something more: faith in Yeshua. His concept of success changed radically. Since then, he has served in executive positions in three different ministries. Today, Marc and his wife, Sylvia, reside in a little coastal community in Southern California and have five children and eight grandchildren living across the country.

Ruth is the daughter of Jews for Jesus founder Moishe Rosen. She was raised with an appreciation for both her Jewish heritage and her faith in Jesus. Today, Ruth is a staff writer and editor with Jews for Jesus and, as such, has helped many other Jewish believers in Jesus tell their stories.

Heidi Barr grew up in an Orthodox Jewish community in a small town in the Midwest. At the age of sixteen, she had a deadly accident while horseback riding and unexpectedly encountered Jesus. Heidi worked as a nurse for thirty years, where she cared for many people who faced death themselves.

Jeff talks with Licensed Professional Counselor Liz Nolan about her inspiring and life-altering encounter with Yeshua.
