Caitlin Bassett stars as Addison Augustine on the new NBC drama “Quantum Leap.” Addison is an ex-Army intelligence Officer who works in the Quantum Leap program. She is Ben Song’s guide in the past and, during his leaps, appears in a hologram that only he can see and hear.

“Quantum Leap” marks the professional acting debut for Bassett. A military veteran, she spent seven years in U.S. Army Intelligence and the National Security Agency, with two combat tours to Afghanistan and a third abroad. After completing her service with multiple accolades, she began studying law in New York while moonlighting in theater classes. Sherri Be started her acting career in her hometown of Chicago, Il., as a youth. Her earliest memory of performing was when she starred in a school play called "Baby Bunnies" in the second grade. She remembers receiving a standing ovation after screaming her line "Stop that noise!" That's when she knew acting was it for her. Soon after, her mother enrolled her in dance classes, the church choir and she even took modeling classes after her mother. Sherri Be was on her way to becoming an all around performer.

Sherri Be joined the Chicago Fire Team in 2012 and worked there while the Chicago film industry grew. As the opportunities came in for independent projects, she was often upgraded to "featured" performer. After working as a background talent and getting familiar with the local producers and casting directors, Sherri Be decided to take the leap of faith and take her talents to tinsel town, Hollywood, California. She resigned from her full time job as a public school counselor, shipped her car and caught a flight to California with no where to go. As a direct result, Sherri Be slept in her car for over a year while showering at the faithful, YMCA in Hollywood.

Sydney is a dancer from Houston, TX. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and also has a strong background in cheerleading. She began cheerleading at age 7 and continued through junior high school. Then as a varsity member for her high school team, Sydney continued on to be dance team captain for her Division 1 college dance team in Brooklyn, NY. Her mother was her first dance teacher and she danced at the famed Ailey School in New York City in her youth. Sydney is known as a curve model and social media influencer, where her platform highlights body positivity and dance. She has modeled for large, nation-wide campaigns and events including being the face and voice of Rue 21 Plus, walking for Pretty Little Thing at Miami Swim Week, modeling for NYX Cosmetics, and being featured in Essence and Cosmopolitan magazines.

Jasmine is a dancer and mother of two from Queens, NY. She took her first dance class at the age of 8, but it wasn't until age 11 during her first ballet class that she knew this was her life's passion. She is trained in hip hop (pop and locking, funk, groove, and freestyling), street jazz, tap, jazz, ballet, modern, West African dance, and lyrical, but hip hop is where she can express herself best. Jasmine is also a graduate of Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, where she fostered her acting talent as a Drama major (Long Island City, Queens), and is a proud alumna of Devore Dance Center, where she dedicated 20 years of her dance training. Growing up in the 90s, she lists artists like TLC, Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, and Janet Jackson as huge inspirations alongside choreographers Mia Michaels and Wade Robson. Outside of dancing, Jasmine loves her job as an Operations Manager at Old Navy. She wants the world to know that she is a product of her faith, both in herself and in God. Her biggest goal in life is to empower her daughters to follow their dreams and never give up on themselves.

Arianna, also known as Ari, is a dancer from Indianapolis, IN. She has been a technically trained dancer since she was 2 years old, studying styles including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and modern. Arianna loves dancing because it allows her to express emotions she cannot put words to, especially after the recent loss of her grandmother to COVID. Arianna hopes to spread joy through her artistic passions and her hobbies include painting, cooking, playing with her dog, and singing/songwriting.

Sisters, Ruba and Luna, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, were inspired by their mother as successful Arabic singer with great passion for music. Ruba and Luna had a very wealthy yet strict lifestyle. Where music was forbidden, they were only allowed to enjoy music as a hobby, it was the typical “you will be Drs and lawyers” their father would say. Until the ages of 17 and 16, when their father lost 19 million in the stock market, this is when life changed, the shock of their father’s misfortune caused him a heart attack the same day! This day was a life turning point for this family! Their father began to lose his wealth, all of it. As they began to lose their homes, cars, businesses, their father had second heart attack, “as we sat with him as he recovered from surgery, he began to open up and tell us that if we want to make music he supports us and wants us to be happy.” We then began our pursuit to work on music in hopes to also be able to take care of our family.

Phoebe Holston is Founder and CEO of Hygiene Freaks, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides hygiene kits to people experiencing homelessness. She founded the organization in March of 2020, and it is truly a labor of love for her. Phoebe is deeply concerned about the homeless community in Los Angeles and feels that until she is able to house people experiencing homelessness, she can at least offer something that can make them feel a bit better while they are unhoused.

She’s Gotta Have It actress Gina Naomi Baez, is a 2x cancer survivor who fought for her life and documented her entire journey on Tiktok. Being in many various TV and musical productions, Baez had a seemingly promising career in singing and dancing until having her world turned upside down and being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Despite this life-changing news, Gina didn’t give up and has survived the odds.

Gina is back to being a full-time actress, singer, and songwriter, landing roles in Orange Is the New Black and numerous theatrical productions. Joe was born in Boston across from the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown and grew up in the Irish neighborhood of West Roxbury or "Westie". He spent most of his youth playing ice hockey, and working as a landscaper, union stagehand and hockey coach. Joe attended Boston Latin high school, and then Stonehill College for theatre. In 2005, he was an apprentice at the Williamstown Theatre Festival under artistic director Roger Rees. He then studied at the Eugene O'Neill Theater in Waterford, CT as part of the ensemble of the National Theatre Institute. He continued his training when the University of Florida offered him a full-scholarship for acting. His MFA thesis role was Shelley Levene in "Glengarry Glen Ross" by David Mamet, directed by one of his professors and mentors, Tim Altmeyer.

The talented vibrant Camille Bright, also known as Cammi Bright, is a native of South Carolina. Camille knew from a young age that entertaining was her passion. At eighteen a courageous Camille with dreams of making it big, decided to move to New York City after she was offered a scholarship to The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. Camille spent four wonderful years gaining experience in the big city, where she booked multiple commercials and off Broadway plays. Feeling confident as an actress Camille decided to step out on faith and take her talents to Los Angeles, CA where she immediately was able to land theatrical and commercial representation. While busy pursuing her budding acting career, Camille was introduced to a music executive who loved her look and natural ability to entertain. He later asked her to be apart of a girl group. The girl group had a successful three year run, but did not continue. Once the girls parted ways Camille decided to continue her journey as a solo artist. Last year he booked his first series for HBO starring opposite Lily Tomlin in "12 Miles of Bad Road". He also recently shot a supporting role in the "Ferris Bueller-esque" teen film Senior Skip Day (2008). Last fall he starred in FOX's Wrong Turn 2. Texas is also remembered from his recurring role opposite Chad Michael Murray on One Tree Hill (2003). Since the success of his first studio film, "Coach Carter", staring Samuel L. Jackson, which debuted in the number one spot in the box office, Texas has been on a roll! Earlier this year Texas starred in New Line Cinema's Final Destination 3 (2006). His dedication to his craft far exceeds the duration of the time he's been actively pursuing his goal of becoming a respected actor.

Roger Dorman is an American actor and producer known for his role as Leiland Ashgrave in the conspiracy thriller Wander (2020) opposite Aaron Eckhart, Tommy Lee Jones, and Katheryn Winnick.

He recently finished filming a leading role as Officer Mike Wind in the massively talked about and anticipated racism and police brutality thriller Karen (2021) opposite Taryn Manning. His brutal portrayal of a hardened racist cop is one many will not forget.

Roger is currently cast in a number of upcoming movies going into production in 2021 and 2022. Most notably, he will take on a leading role opposite Sydney Sweeney in the upcoming spy thriller Birdseye. Torn between love for his spy girlfriend and duty for his country, Roger’s character must make a decision, leading to an incredible arch of heart-wrenching emotions and drama.

On yet another project coming up, Roger will be playing one of the leads in the movie Mary, working with director Sean McNamara.

Roger has invested hundreds of hours in private tutoring sessions with Susana Morris of the exclusive Eric Morris Actors Workshop. Actor legends Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep have worked with her and her husband for much of their careers.

Roger understands the unmasking of scripts and tapping into emotional obligations necessary to bring out an exceptional performance every time he is in front of the camera.

His other interests and experience include golf (2 handicap), singing (currently taking private lessons), languages (also speaks Spanish), sports of all kinds (grew up playing competitive baseball, basketball, and football), nature and the outdoors (fishing, hiking, and camping), firearms (handguns, rifles, and semi-auto), business and travel (owns an international currency exchange and has traveled extensively throughout the world), animals, kids (father of 3 and tremendous family man), and fitness and health (personal training, yoga, pilates, trapeze, and running).

Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series! Can you tell us the story of how you grew up?

Iwas born the third of six children in Ridgecrest, California. When my parents divorced when I was six, my mother took all six of us to her hometown of Panaca, Nevada. This was a small pioneer town of just 750 people. I spent my youth playing baseball, basketball, and football for my local sports teams through high school. During the summers, we would visit my father in California for a month or so at a time. This was my life living as a middle child in a broken home.

Can you share a story with us about what brought you to this specific career path?

I invested in a publicly-traded gold mining company and was invited to attend a board meeting for the top investors in the company. While there, I went to dinner with one of the board members. He looked across the table from me and said, “I’ve got a movie I want you to be in. I want you to be the luxury yacht captain.” I laughed, but one thing led to the other and eventually, I was cast in that movie. They ended up casting me in the first movie I played a part in, Wander, starring Aaron Eckhart, Tommy Lee Jones, Katheryn Winnick, Raymond Cruz, and Heather Graham. I wasn’t disappointed at the change in direction.

Zephani Idoko was born to Nigerian parents John and Deborah Idoko, on March 17 1994.

Throughout her over twenty five-year career as an actress, Devika Parikh has distinguished herself with numerous memorable roles in iconic series and feature films in both comedy and drama.

Raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland to what she lovingly terms a "Blindian," family with an East Indian father from Mumbai, India and an African-American mother from Virginia, along with her two sisters, Devika's mixed cultural heritage has been a source of pride. Her first name in Sanskrit means "little goddess," and her heritage has played a part in her diverse portrayals of black, East Indian, and mixed ethnicity characters throughout her career.

Initially questioning the reality of pursuing her dream of acting, Devika first pursued journalism, graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University where she was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. After a soul-searching trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, Devika decided to leave journalism to pursue her lifelong passion, packed her Toyota Celica for the cross-country trip, and secured a job in NBC's Page program in Burbank.
