- 1062 - Prayer Burdens
This past week I officiated another funeral. Sometimes the weight becomes to much for me. I carry the spiritual weight of many. I also went to the hospital to visit a young lady who has a terminal illness. A prayer burden is a heaviness of heart and emotion, a spirit of mourning or feeling of restlessness. We cannot find a way to shift ourselves from a problem or need that has come our way. One of my heroes, Smith Wigglesworth would carry the burdens of many, and at times would moan and groan trying to go to sleep after one of his revival serves. Sharon has to help me at times to give it all to the Lord. I am like you, I ma not a machine, I cannot turn off my love for people by flipping a switch. Without the love of my life, Sharon I would not to do well.

Yesterday Sharon and I attend the memorial service for our precious friend and mentor Pastor Don Kimbro. I do not have the words to really tell you the impact he has had on my life. I met Don about 20 years ago He helped me so much over the years with his godly wisdom and love. He helped guide me in my management of KKIM radio and he had left his imprint on FGGAM from the start. Such a wise man. We need more Don’s and Dorothy’s. They modeled what marriage is to be. If you did not know Don, I wish you had. His writings have been top reads over the years here at FGGAM, they live on here at FGGAM for as long as we are here. One of the hymns that was sung at Don’s memorial was ‘Give me Jesus’ In the morning, when I rise In the morning, when I rise In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus Give me, Jesus Give me Jesus You can have all this world But give me Jesus And when I am alone Oh, and when I am alone And when I am alone, give me Jesus And when I come to die Oh, and when I come to die And when I come to die, give me Jesus Until we meet again Don……… The man did did not seek fame, he had no ego, he was here to serve God and all people in such a loving way. Dr. Ryan Denison on the Doomsday Clock: The official statement from the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists warns that “leaders and citizens around the world should take this statement as a stark warning and respond urgently, as if today were the most dangerous moment in modern history. Because it may well be.” Read more at FGGAM.ORG Today I want to share with you about doubt, fear, anxiety and anger, These problems are affecting many throughout the world! Many! Maybe even you. What role does obedience play in your life? How do you start your day? Are you a mature Christian? Do you seek the face of God when you wake up? Do you have a passion to know the Bible? Do you call on the Holy Spirit? Do you have a passion to receive direction from God? Who directs you life? You?
Fri, 19 Jan 2024 - 05min - 1054 - Brokenness, the way to blessing
I know that there are many of you hurting out there in radio land. This morning I want to share with you on Brokenness and the way to blessing. This morning I got a call from a friend letting me know that a family that attended one of the Churches that I pastored at from time to time has been split up, divided, from divorce. Broke my heart. Good morning! So blessed to be with you today. Please turn your Bibles to Zephaniah 3:17 Many people had a tough time during the Christmas season because of various things. I want to speak to that today. Charles Stanley once wrote: The Peace of God is the Fruit of Oneness with God. Do you have oneness with God?
Fri, 05 Jan 2024 - 05min - 1052 - Joseph Accepts Jesus As His Son
Merry Christmas folks from Sharon and I. This morning I want to share with you the Word of God .....Let is turn our Bibles to Matthew 1:18.....This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about. Hos mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. Did you know that? A recent polling shows many Americans do not.........
Fri, 15 Dec 2023 - 05min - 1051 - Enduring Your Faith During Hard Times
Good Morning, I have had so many people coming up to me in the last few weeks saying, "I cannot do this anymore....or I am so very tired" I can relate to that pain. We are probably living in the most stressful time since World War II. The world is falling apart, it is very dark. How can we endure our faith during such a times as this? This morning I opened my Bible to Zephaniah. probably not one of the most read books of the Bible. God sent me to Zephaniah 3:17........
Fri, 08 Dec 2023 - 05min - 1050 - The Courage Of Joseph
“If Jesus Christ came to this planet as a model of how we ought to live, then our goal should be to act like Jesus. Sadly, few people consistently demonstrate the love, obedience and priorities of Jesus. The primary reason that people do not act like Jesus is because they do not think like Jesus. Behavior stems from what we think – our attitudes, beliefs, values and opinions. Although most people own a Bible and know some of its content, our research found that most Americans have little idea how to integrate core biblical principles to form a unified and meaningful response to the challenges and opportunities of life. We’re often more concerned with survival amidst chaos than with experiencing truth and significance.” George Barna.
Fri, 01 Dec 2023 - 05min - 1049 - What Can We Learn From Joseph?
Todays message is from Matthew 1:18-25 What can you and learn from the life of Joseph. I have been grieving the passing of our ministry fur baby Daisy. Daisy was a huge help in building bridges of love and trust with many. Sharon and I took her on our Great Commission trips to Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. Daisy helped soften hearts for Jesus. With everything going on in the world, the hostages taken from Israel, the loss of friends from suicide, a friend fighting brain cancer, and on and on.......it is a challenge to remain consistent in everything I do, as I hurt...Thank you for allowing be to be REAL with you.

- 1047 - Honor And Pray For Our Veterans
Father God, we lift up all of those who have worn our nation’s uniform. We pray for these, because they were in harm’s way, were wounded, lost friends and family, and now suffer the scars of these experiences. Father, we pray for physical and emotional healing for those struggling with woundedness including PTSD. Lord, we lift up their family members who often suffer silently with them. Move on us as a nation and as individuals to have the compassion we need to honor them and serve them well. And Lord, equip us as Jesus followers to heed the Apostle Paul’s words, and to ‘Render therefore to all their due.” In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Fri, 10 Nov 2023 - 05min - 1046 - The Lord Is My Rock
He (David) said, “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” For the waves of death encompassed me, the torrents of destruction assailed me; the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. “In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears. “Then the earth reeled and rocked; the foundations of the heavens trembled and quaked, because he was angry. Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from his mouth; glowing coals flamed forth from him. He bowed the heavens and came down; thick darkness was under his feet. He rode on a cherub and flew; he was seen on the wings of the wind. He made darkness around him his canopy, thick clouds, a gathering of water. Out of the brightness before him coals of fire flamed forth. The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice. And he sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning, and routed them. Then the channels of the sea were seen; the foundations of the world were laid bare, at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. “He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me…You save a humble people, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down. 2 Samuel 22:3-20 & 28

Fri, 20 Oct 2023 - 05min - 1044 - All You Need Is Jesus
New Mexico and Minnesota and all of America is living proof of George Barna’s research: Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. This is reflected by the state of affairs here! One of the top reasons Sharon and I get when we are out on the streets from people as to why the do not go to Church: “The Church does not doing anything for me, it is no longer effective in our country.” Billy Graham puts it this way: Down deep, men and women want peace in their souls and will desperately try everything except Almighty God. Why? Human nature rebels against humbling itself before the One who came to save lost souls. Many people search for fulfillment while ignoring God. Some will spend a lifetime searching for something, never willing to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ who said, “Search the Scriptures … which testify of Me” (John 5:39)(John 14:6). All Christians, including myself, need to look into the mirror and ask ourselves: Are we being effective for JESUS? The solution is carrying out The Great Commission , bring down the walls, the kingdoms of men, denominations, tear them down, leave the power, the money, the ego……..go out for JESUS, not your agenda! We are to be the BODY OF CHRIST! NOT INDEPENDENT IN OUR WAYS! There is power in numbers! Why is there a Church on every street corner in New Mexico and all over America, and we are still going to hell as country? Get out on the road, hear from people.
Fri, 15 Sep 2023 - 05min - 1043 - Labor Day Prayer
From Kathy Branzell of National Day of Prayer: Jesus, You are our Master, our King, and Lord and we are your servants, yet You call us friends. Heavenly Father, You are the everlasting Creator of all that exists yet You call us Your beloved children. Every moment of our lives belongs to You and we desire to delight and glorify You in all we do. Help us to remember as we work, rest, care for our family, friends, homes and even learn, do homework, volunteer; in all we think, say, and do, we worship. Guard our hearts from making an idol of work, not worshipping money, positions, or influence. We will endure trials, challenging bosses, hard work, disappointment, and co-workers knowing they are our opportunity to magnify You and Your faithfulness. Remind us that we get to walk out Your Word and love as You grow and perfect us in Your perfect love. May we always rejoice and worship You with reverence and endurance. In the wonderful and worthy name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
Fri, 01 Sep 2023 - 05min - 1042 - We Are Living In Terrible Times
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 Repent America! Change your ways!!! Walk away from sin! Be Born Again!
Fri, 25 Aug 2023 - 05min - 1041 - Back To School
My hometown of Windom, Minnesota is so very blessed to have one of my best friends ever, Dane Nielsen as a principle in their school system! I know this man's heart and soul! I graduated with his Mother Kim, such a sweet heart she was! Kim always made me feel welcomed when I would visit Windom. When I was in Windom for a very short time in June, I got to meet Bryan Joyce, another principle in the Windom school system! He also is such a good man of God! You are very blessed Windom by so many quality people in your school system! I pray that you all will join me and Sharon, and pray for all school officials, teachers, bus drivers, custodians and students! I still remember all the teachers I had, they impacted my life is such an awesome way! It has been almost 50 years since I graduated! I still remember many of the things they taught me! LESSONS FOR LIFE! GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!
Fri, 18 Aug 2023 - 05min - 1040 - Share Jesus, Love Others
This morning I want to Share with you my love for Jesus and all people. First of all, I was told this week of the passing of Alan Anderson a native of Windom, Minnesota. I called his daddy, Phil when I heard of the news. We had a great talk. Phil is very special to me. I has him speak at one of the Windom Revivals we did. Phil was the funeral home director back home when Mom and dad passed away. Phil and his partner Bill Schmidt ministered to us kids so wonderfully. It was a very tough time! I share this story from time to time when I officiate a funeral, the love of JESUS!
Fri, 11 Aug 2023 - 05min - 1039 - How Are You And The Lord Getting Along?
How are you and the Lord getting along? I was asked that question years ago by my first boss in Christian radio, Ed Moore at WFRN! That got my attention for sure! I learned a lot from God and by working at WFRN, which I carry with me today. This morning I want you to think about your relationship with God. I want to think about what is God's will for your life! Not your will, your wants, your goals, but what God's will is.

My message today is based on Ezekiel22:30 30 And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. 30 “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. Are you standing in the gap for God?
Fri, 28 Jul 2023 - 05min - 1037 - God Acts On Behalf Of Those That Wait
Charles Stanley stated: While we actively wait, He actively works. In this hurry up world, waiting for anything can cause us to lose our temper. Oh My! Many do! We do not like waiting in line at the post office, grocery store, or anywhere else. Many have ‘ants in their pants’ LOL! We do not even like waiting for good things, like for the fish to bite. We want what we want right now! The Word of God teaches us that we learn some of life’s biggest lessons while we wait! Amen to that! I could do an all-day sermon on waiting. I can tell you, when I do not wait for God, I mess many things up if I go before Him. Sharon I can share with you about waiting on God. God had us form FGGAM 11 years ago next month. Waiting on God in starting an independent ministry is one of the greatest classrooms ever! For the first 3 years, we wondered if we would make it. I have learned to wait! Sharon is so much better than I on waiting. I am so very thankful to God I have her!
Thu, 20 Jul 2023 - 05min - 1036 - The Family Unit
Happy Father’s Day! I had the best daddy ever! PTL! My daddy took the responsibility of being a godly father to heart! PTL! Sadly, many children in todays world are not blessed like I was. Many children never get a chance to go to Sunday school, or to Church, because their daddy and mommy did not get the opportunity either or chose just not to go. It is a generational problem here in America. Many grow up without God in the home. I will be preaching on this topic on Father’s Day in Grants, New Mexico at ‘The Way, The Truth and The Life Ministries.’ See above. I pray for more Christian men and women in America. Let us review Christian responsibilities of dads. Maybe you have become a bit off course. I preach the following at weddings. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (Gen. 1:27). Children are facing things that I never had to face growing up. Man has created in his own mind different sexes! My goodness sakes! We are so very thankful for parents that fight for what is right for their children! Let us encourage all in the name of JESUS! It is so very, very hard to be a Christian dad and mom in this dark world. My heart goes out to them. Sharon and I are parents and grandparents. Today, we honor not only dad’s, but also mom’s. For Father’s Day: Millions of men around the world faithfully strive to honor God in all their vocations in life. Here are the wonderful responsibilities God has given to men: Story Here 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes (U.S. Dept. Of Health/Census) – 5 times the average. 90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes – 32 times the average. 85% of all children who show behavior disorders come from fatherless homes – 20 times the average. (Center for Disease Control) 80% of rapists with anger problems come from fatherless homes –14 times the average. (Justice & Behavior, Vol. 14, p. 403-26) 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes – 9 times the average. (National Principals Association Report) Father Factor in Education – Fatherless children are twice as likely to drop out of school. Children with Fathers who are involved are 40% less likely to repeat a grade in school. Children with Fathers who are involved are 70% less likely to drop out of school. Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to get A’s in school. Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to enjoy school and engage in extracurricular activities. 75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes – 10 times the average.
Fri, 16 Jun 2023 - 05min - 1035 - Remember The Fallen
The verse I have selected for Memorial Day: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:3-11 Please now listen to my message.

A woman of God is first and foremost a daughter of God. Becoming a child of God happens through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. My Mom, Ruth Irene Moede had the most underlined Bible I have ever seen in my life! Underlines, notes written on the side......Better yet! She applied the Bible to her life and taught us the same!

Thu, 06 Apr 2023 - 05min - 1032 - Palm Sunday Message
Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection (Matthew 21:1–11). As Jesus entered the holy city, He neared the culmination of a long journey toward Golgotha. He had come to save the lost (Luke 19:10), and now was the time—this was the place—to secure that salvation. Palm Sunday marked the start of what is often called “Passion Week,” the final seven days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Palm Sunday was the “beginning of the end” of Jesus’ work on earth. From Michael Gehrling in CHURCHLEADERS: This is a Palm Sunday poem that I wrote and preached as the Palm/Passion Sunday sermon. A number of people have requested copies of it, so I’m making it available here: use this Palm Sunday poem as you wish. What Kind of King? A Powerful Palm Sunday Poem From Michael Gehrling: I am a church-planter/pastor and campus minister living in Pittsburgh. I graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with my MDiv in 2008, and prior to that received my BA in Christian Though, with a minor in Theatre, from Grove City College. Currently, I’m living in the neighborhood of Squirrel Hill in the city of Pittsburgh and working to plant The Upper Room, a new church that is cross-cultural, sacramental, and missional. I’m also working for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship as a campus minister in their Graduate Student and Faculty Ministry at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh.
Thu, 30 Mar 2023 - 05min - 1031 - Good Manners
Yesterday at Smiths grocery I did my usual thing of talking to all people, I love Jesus, I love all people! When I was walking up to the store an elderly lady was getting out of her car. She was walking with a cane making her way over to a shopping cart and I asked her if she needed some help, she said no I’m going to make my way to the motorized scooters. I told her to just wait and I will get someone to drive the scooter over to you and I asked my friend Donna of Smiths to drive the scooter over to her and she did. After I finished shopping the lady waved at me as she came out of the store and she said I knew you were a Christian man! I gave her a cross that my ministry friend Dwight makes, (pictured above) he has sent me several to hand out as I minister. The lady mentioned to me that manners are lost. Its called showing the love of Jesus! I always think of how I would like my Mommy and Daddy treated in situations. I see many elderly people who struggle, but many just turn away. Someday it may be you and I needing a motorized scooter! Let people always see Jesus in us, we are to be ambassadors for Jesus. Last weekend I went to pick up Sharon’s Birthday dinner. When I was going out of the restaurant I saw a young couple approaching and I held the door for them. The couple looked at me like I just had handed them a thousand dollars! The man thanked me more than once! They has such smiles on their faces! PTL! The love of JESUS! I love being an ambassador for JESUS! I love this from one of my favorite all-time Preachers, Adrian Rogers: There’s never been a greater time to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The great revivalist Vance Havner said, “Too many are willing to sit at God’s table but not work in His field. …God has a place and purpose for you, somewhere for you to be and something for you to do. You never will be happy elsewhere, nor can you please God anywhere but there.” Remind yourself today and say out loud: “I have been called into the ministry. I am saved to serve. God, make me a servant. God, make me a minister.” God has called you. Think what will happen if all of us really begin to minister. We’ll turn the world upside down and inside out for Jesus Christ. We could change the world for Jesus if we each understood we’ve been saved to serve. God has called you into the ministry. You don’t just sit in church to soak and sour but to serve. Where have you served in your church? What have been some of your hesitations about serving God? Are you carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION? It is a command from our LORD, not a suggestion! Look it up in your Bible!
Thu, 23 Mar 2023 - 05min - 1030 - Is Jesus Bigger Than You?
My Dear Freind Kathy Branzell of National day of Prayer shared with us on St. Patrick's Day, the Breastplate prayer.....Would you please pray the final paragraph of St. Patrick’s Breastplate prayer with me? “Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. I arise today Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity, Through belief in the threeness, Through confession of the oneness, Of the Creator of Creation.”

The love of JESUS be with you and yours always! Do you communicate with others about the love of JESUS? Do you share the wisdom of GOD with others? I love sharing JESUS with all people! It is the greatest thing you can do for our LORD! Please do not be shy about sharing JESUS with all people, do not be shy about YOUR JESUS! I share Jesus wherever I go, to the bank, post office, gas stations, restaurants, just all over.....

Thu, 23 Feb 2023 - 05min - 1026 - The Winds Of Revival In America
I am weeping this morning….God is on the move in America and it is led by our young people…….Like many of you, I have been praying for this for many years. TRUE REVIVAL! The secular news networks are now covering what God is doing ay Asbury and Lee University and other campuses!! PTL!!! All Glory to God! Look what GOD is doing! PTL!!! PTL!!! LOOK! LOOK! WHAT GOD IS DOING! NOT MAN MADE!!! GOD MADE! OH HOLY SPIRIT!!! PTL!!! REVIVAL FIRE HAS COME TO AMERICA! Revival refers to a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer. It encompasses the resurfacing of a love for God, an appreciation of God’s holiness, a passion for His Word and His church, a convicting awareness of personal and corporate sin, a spirit of humility, and a desire for repentance and growth in righteousness. Revival invigorates and sometimes deepens a believer’s faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. It generally involves the connotation of a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God. Revival breaks the charm and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world. - 1023 - Listen And Follow One Voice
My Dear Freind and Mentor Psstor Leonard Navarre shared this story with us at FGGAM back in 2013. It is still read to this day. Several years ago I heard the story of a young brilliant concert pianist. He was giving his first professional performance of his career. As he play skillfully and brilliantly the audience sat in rapt attention, absorbing every note. Finally at the end of a magnificent performance the audience exploded in a standing ovation. In the midst of the ovation the young pianist left the stage shoulders downcast, crest fallen and dejected. The stage manager came to him full of congratulations and praise but the young musician remained despondent. “I am no good” the young man exclaimed. “It was a failure”. The stage manager responded, “nonsense. It was tremendous, everyone is on their feet and applauding, except for just one old man.” The young concert pianist replied, “yes, but that old man is my piano teacher.” This story should remind us that our service to Jesus Christ is to be motivated by one factor and one factor alone; Our love for the Master, His Word and His approval.

My prayer is that you will honor your Pastor this Sunday and all days. After I officiated a very emotional funeral service yesterday Jackie Low posted this on my Facebook page: I think you have one of the toughest vocations right now in all this mess Dewey.. thank you for your faithfulness! Prayers and Gods blessings! Many Pastors are quitting, they are tired and discouraged. Please pour the love of Jesus over your Pastor and his or her family. What are YOU going to do this Sunday to show your appreciation to your Pastor? Many Americans no longer go to Church. It is time to pray to the Lord for a Church to attend. God will show you. If you need help in finding a Church to attend, please email me at pastordewey@fggam.org I will do my best to help you no matter where you live. I have friends all over America to help you. This is from Dion Elmore of National Day of Prayer! We love all the folks at National Day of Prayer! Friend — “Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”” – 1 Timothy 5:17-18
Fri, 07 Oct 2022 - 05min - 1021 - People Need Jesus!
So many people need JESUS! JESUS is always the answer to all problems. NOT POLITICS! Do you share Jesus with everybody? Do you share JESUS at the post office, the grocery store? on the streets of your community? America needs JESUS! Please do not be bashful about sharing JESUS! Satan is having his way with many in America, so many are off the track and blinded by Satan, walking in such mud and darkness, many do not even know it! Why is the World full of evil? “So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18. The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction. Do you know what the GREAT COMMISSION is? It is a command from JESUS, not a suggestion! Please read Matthew 28:16–20.
Fri, 30 Sep 2022 - 05min - 1020 - Education Without Action Is Entertainment
My Dear Friends I want to share with you what the Lord is showing me today and many days. Do you have a calling? Here is mine! “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” -Acts 20:24

Fri, 16 Sep 2022 - 05min - 1018 - The Awe and Love of Jesus
The Apostle Paul told Christ’s followers not to conform to the world (Romans 12:2) and these words still have a tremendous and significant meaning for believers today. These words cut like a sharp sword across our way of life. They are not comfortable words. They have the tone of the battle call in them. They separate the weak from the strong. But they are words of inspiration and conviction, and we need to hear them today — and heed them. We must not be conformed to this world mentally. The world by its advertisements, conversation, and philosophy is engaged in a gigantic brainwashing task. Christians must not allow the world’s sewage system to contaminate the Christian mind. We also must not conform to the world physically. Our bodies are meant to be the temple of the Spirit of God that abides in us. Nor should we conform to the world socially. The world attempts to absorb us into its secular society and to conform us to its earthly image, but Christ tells us not to conform: “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:16). The disciples turned the world’s ways upside down by the power of the Word of God.
Fri, 09 Sep 2022 - 05min - 1017 - Peace With God
Peace with God is the fruit of ones with God. The answer is found in a close, loving and abiding relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hear His Word: "Peace be with you."
Fri, 02 Sep 2022 - 05min - 1016 - Get to Work
Matthew 28:19–20 contains what has come to be called the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus gave this command to the apostles shortly before He ascended into heaven, and it essentially outlines what Jesus expected the apostles and those who followed them to do in His absence. It is interesting that, in the original Greek, the only direct command in Matthew 28:19–20 is “make disciples.” The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples while we are going throughout the world. The instructions to “go,” “baptize,” and “teach” are indirect commands—participles in the original. How are we to make disciples? By baptizing them and teaching them all that Jesus commanded. “Make disciples” is the primary command of the Great Commission. “Going,” “baptizing,” and “teaching” are the means by which we fulfill the command to “make disciples.”
Fri, 26 Aug 2022 - 05min - 1015 - Are Your Prayers Being Answered?
I have studied this subject for years. When my Mom was not healed from cancer and passed into heaven, It made me really think about unanswered prayer. We had so many people praying for the healing of my mom, Ruth Irene Moede. Mom passed away into the arms of Jesus at age 64 in 1995. My dad, Wally, passed away of a sudden heart attack on Easter morning in 1993 also at the age of 64. It was a very tough time for me and my brothers and sister. I learned a lot about life, death, and prayer. I remember one time when a man told me, “My mom had cancer and we all prayed and she was healed.” I also learned first hand not what to say to people. That one really hurt. I could write a book on what not to say to people that have just lost a loved one. Death is not talked about enough by many Pastors. All that I have personally gone though and from my study of God’s ways, has made me a better man of God, as God has placed me in the ministry of officiating many funerals. I have taken off two weeks from officiating funeral services because my spirit was becoming ‘dull,’ and I needed to refresh myself in my Lord. Never lose your loving, sensitive heart for people. Pastor Raymond Franks, now with the Lord, told me once, “Dewey, always pray for the Lord’s will to be done.” Amen! We always do not understand the workings of the Lord
Fri, 05 Aug 2022 - 05min - 1014 - The Anniversary of "In God We Trust "
FGGAM STATEMENT OF FAITH: We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God. God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life. We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. – FGGAM is a non-denominational, nonpartisan, Independent ministry – I absolutely love the ministry of National Day of Prayer! PTL! I also love the writings of Kathy Branzell, President of National Day of Prayer Task force! PS! I was born on July 4th, 1956!!! Friend — “YOU WILL KEEP IN PERFECT PEACE THOSE WHOSE MINDS ARE STEADFAST, BECAUSE THEY TRUST IN YOU. TRUST IN THE LORD FOREVER, FOR THE LORD, THE LORD HIMSELF, IS THE ROCK ETERNAL.” ISAIAH 26:3-4 NIV This weekend marks the anniversary of “In God We Trust” becoming the motto of the United States of America. On July 30, 1956, the 84th Congress unanimously passed the joint resolution and President Eisenhower signed this faith-filled motto, that had been declared throughout our history, into law. “In God We Trust” had already been proclaimed on our currency, in our national anthem and various documents, flags, military regiment mottos, and more – but in 1956 we honored God by, and established our trust in Him, as our national belief guiding America throughout history.
Fri, 29 Jul 2022 - 05min - 1013 - Are You Hearing God?
Do you hear God? Does God speak to you? Why do you sometimes fail to hear God when He speaks? Minds of many are cluttered with nothing noise, the noise of the world. Today let us focus on listening to God.....
Fri, 22 Jul 2022 - 05min - 1012 - I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
Psalm 139 English Standard Version Search Me, O God, and Know My Heart To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. 139 O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3 You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. 7 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” 12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you. 13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a] Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. 19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me! 20 They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain.[b] 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you? 22 I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts![c] 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting![d] Footnotes
Fri, 15 Jul 2022 - 05min - 1011 - Homeless
I took this picture in Albuquerque. I am always afraid these folks are going to get hit by a car. Does not this picture break your heart? If you have become ‘cold’ toward the homeless, check in with JESUS. I do not pretend to have the answer to this growing problem in America. Gretchen and I went to Phoenix over Father’s Day to see the Minnesota Twins play the Diamondbacks! Gretchen treat to her Daddy! I was so very sadden seeing all the homeless folks on the streets, sleeping on the sidewalks, even children!, it devastated me. So many young people in distress. So many men yelling out and screaming things! I did not know what to do. Yesterday Lars and I had lunch in Albuquerque….I lost my appetite…. all the homeless people in the area…….tents set up on the side street………young people lost…….rubbish all over the streets….Police across the street…….boarded up businesses…. What are we to do? I do know this: “HOW THEN WILL THEY CALL ON HIM IN WHOM THEY HAVE NOT BELIEVED? HOW WILL THEY BELIEVE IN HIM WHOM THEY HAVE NOT HEARD? AND HOW WILL THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER? HOW WILL THEY PREACH UNLESS THEY ARE SENT? JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” ROMANS 10:14-15 NIV
Fri, 08 Jul 2022 - 05min - 1010 - America! Bless God!
Good Morning Team Jesus! On July 3rd is my Mom's birthday on heaven. Ruth Irene Moede passed into the arms of Jesus in January of 1995. I miss my mom so very much! My birthday is on July 4th! I was born red, white and blue!!! My Daddy always told me that I was a firecracker, not a dud! LOL! I want to share with you this morning some messages from a few former Presidents of the United States of America!
Fri, 01 Jul 2022 - 05min - 1009 - What Are We to do Lord?
Luke 10:2 says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” I read this information and much of it I had seen before in the last couple of months. HOWEVER! There is important information in this message that should ignite us all to carry out The Great Commission! My goodness, we are so very divided not only politically in this country, but in what we beleive in, God? Nothing? We will never achieve unity until we all come to JESUS. I have said for years, and still say today, politics is Satan’s workshop! LOOK WHAT HE HAS DONE! Satan has divided our country in so very many ways, INCLUDING the Church! WE ARE A MESS! SEX ABUSE IS A HUGE PROBLEM IN TOO MANY CHURCHES! And you think people want to join a Church? You cannot hide from that stink! Too many made politics and politicians a god. EVEN PASTORS!!! So many pastors and congregants show an unbelieving world just what it wants to see, BAD BEHAVIOR! Too many pastors love to preach to the choir and not leave the building and hit the streets for JESUS! We are losing. Years ago I witnessed excellent on the street ministry by Pastor’s Kyle Martin and John Lay. They would hit the streets of Dallas and talk to people one on one. They also would do ‘man of the street’ interviews and play them back on KKIM Christian radio. Kyle and John would build bridges of love and trust with folks and then talk to them about JESUS! This is when both of them were with ‘Time to Revive’ out of Dallas, Kyle is still TTR, he is the founder, and John is now the Pastor of the Church on the Hill in Mesquite, Texas. I learned much from those two, I also took part in revivals with them in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and in Asheville, NC. It was like going to seminary, I learned so much! I also served on the TTR Board of Directors for a few years before God founded FGGAM, 10 years ago this August! Thank you LORD for the education! Thank you Pastor’s Kyle Martin and John Lay! You taught me THE GREAT COMMISSION!
Thu, 23 Jun 2022 - 05min - 1008 - The One And Only True Peacemaker
We need a true peacemaker here in America. That is JESUS CHRIST. We are in a civil war here in America. So much hate! This morning I want to share with you about Timothy of the Bible, Timothy, the recipient of the two New Testament letters bearing his name, was the son of a Greek father and a Jewish mother. He joined Paul during one of Paul’s later missionary journeys. Paul addresses Timothy as "my true son in the faith" (1 Timothy 1:2). He was probably no older than late teens/early twenties when he joined Paul but had already distinguished himself as faithful, and the elders noticed him. He probably heard and responded to the gospel when Paul came through the area of Derbe and Lystra on his first missionary journey, but we don’t know for sure. Timothy served as Paul’s representative to several churches (1 Corinthians 4:17; Philippians 2:19), and he was later a pastor in Ephesus (1 Timothy 1:3). Timothy is also mentioned as being with Paul when Paul wrote several New Testament letters—2 Corinthians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, and Philemon.
Wed, 15 Jun 2022 - 05min - 1007 - Well Done, Good And Faithful Servant
Good morning people of God!!! We are so very thankful for you! This morning I want to share with you about building your Christian foundation. It is so very important. I was blessed to grow up in Windom, Minnesota and have many role models, many heroes of faith I call them! One of the reason I preach today is that I want children to have the growing up that I had in Windom.
Fri, 10 Jun 2022 - 05min - 1006 - The Importance of the Local Church
Today I start a series of messages based on the importance of the local church. Dr. Jim Denison who is the best Christian News commentator posted this on Friday. “Grant me today a kind and gentle heart” If you and I are not living and serving in transformational community, it is because we are not fully yielded to the Spirit’s unifying power. If we are, we are answering Jesus’ prayer for his followers “that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me” (John 17:23). Have you invited the Spirit to “fill” and control your life yet today (Ephesians 5:18)? Have you invited him to use you in unity and community with the people of God? I have found the Scottish minister John Baillie’s prayer to be helpful and encourage you to pray it with me today: “O Lord, your divine tenderness always outsoars the narrow loves and kindnesses of earth. Grant me today a kind and gentle heart toward all things that live. Help me to take a stand against cruelty to any creatures of yours. Help me to be actively concerned for the welfare of little children, and those who are sick, and of the poor, remembering that what I do for the least of these brothers and sisters of his, I do for Jesus Christ my Lord.”
Fri, 03 Jun 2022 - 05min - 1005 - The Cause of America Failing its Children is Very Clear
FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday: “The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.” Only 6% of America has a Biblical Worldview, we are praying a deep price for this!
Thu, 26 May 2022 - 05min - 1004 - The Death of a Biblical Worldview In America
FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday, we have been now for almost 10 years as of this coming August. Before that at KKIM Christian Radio in Albuquerque for almost 8 years and since 1997, on Dewey’s Daily Cup. We have worked hard to be consistent in our LORD! “The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.” The death of a Biblical Worldview in America…..I am not a popular man in this world, I do not seek the approval of man, but I am with JESUS. I have seen and see to many Pastors and Christians wanting to be popular with the world. JESUS and Paul are my top role models along with my wife Sharon, not the world. I got asked a lot the first 4 to 5 years, “Are you going to start a Church?” NO, God did not call me and Sharon to start a Church. There is a Church on every street corner in Albuquerque and it is still going to hell. I remember when God was forming FGGAM, and the late Pastor Ray Franks told me, “Dewey, do not start a Church, we have them on every street corner.” Amen! I learned a lot from Pastor Ray. So many Churches struggle with 10 to 15 people. We are carrying out The Great Commission Worldwide, with FGGAM.ORG, Social media, newspaper, radio, JESUS car street ministry, fill-in Pastor, many opportunities to share JESUS at funerals, baptisims and weddings. We operate out of our home with about 15 volunteers.
Thu, 19 May 2022 - 05min - 1003 - Do You Hear God?
Are you seeking the face of Jesus Daily? Do you listen to Jesus? Are you praying and not getting any answers? Do you seek purity? Do you seek politics overt God? You need to ask is there anything in your life hindering you from hearing what God is saying. Cleansing comes by confession. 1 John 1:9 Have you completely surrendered to God? Does politics rule you life? Come clean my friend! God is God! Amen!
Fri, 13 May 2022 - 05min - 1002 - My Mom Lives In My Heart Forever
Mom We want to wish all the Mom’s in the world Happy Mother’s day!!! Too many will be having their first Mother’s Day without their sons and daughters due to death. Our heart weeps for them, our prayers are with them and the entire family. I have done too many funerals in the last 2 1/2 years of parents burying a child. I also want us to remember all the single Mom’s throughout the world who work so very hard to provide for their children. When I hired a single Mom during my radio days, they were the hardest workers!!! Sharon and I have a special place in our hearts for single Mom’s. We are all one in Christ, let us not forget. While many celebrate, many mourn. My Mom lives in my heart, soul and mind every second of my day. She was called home so young, 64 years of age, as was my Daddy. How can I thank them enough for raising me up in a Christian home? Teaching me right from wrong! Showing me love at but correcting me when needed. Mom was a lot like my angel wife Sharon, having what I call ‘QUIET STRENGTH!” I do not have the words on how much I love my Mom, I owe her my life. How do I thank her? How do I thank my Dad and how do I thank ther LORD? I try to spread the joy of the Lord and family everyday. I try to apply what the LORD and my parents taught me everyday. I still make mistakes, but I go forward. There is a place in my heart that still aches that Mom and Dad are not here. BUT! I will see them again! PTL! I had the worlds best parents and I try to pass that down to all. I still remember one day running home from school with a hand full of dandelions that I had picked! Mom acted liked I had handed her a billion bucks! But it was real love, like a billion bucks of love! Amen! I wrote this for Mother’s Day 2014!!!! Most of our generation were HOME SCHOOLED in many ways. Amen to that! Pictured to the left is my Mom, Ruth Irene Moede. This is her High School graduation picture. She was an angel on earth, now an angel in heaven. Pictured at the very top is Mom and Dad on their wedding day! MY HEROES FOREVER AND EVER!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR MY MOM AND DAD! They taught me so much LORD! INTEGRITY!!!!!! HARD WORK!!!! LOYALTY!!! WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUALLY IN YOU LORD!!!!!!! They called my Mom back home, ‘Wally’s shadow’, but what they did not know is that Mom was right by Dad’s side helping him in everything he did and also cooking at the school and teaching us kid’s right from wrong, along with Dad. The All-American family. Mom and Dad working together in raising and providing for a family. Some of you will find the below funny, but I think you also will relate to this as to what your folks taught you. You see, a top reason why America is in such sad shape is the home, the family is being ripped to shreds. You could pass a boat load of legislation to rule over the family but unless people are connected to God it just means continued failure. You see as many tell me, I had an All-American, Midwest childhood, in Windom, Minnesota!!! Many of my buddies say I grew up in Mayberry, with Sheriff Andy, Aunt Bea and Opie! Nothing better than that! God now has me at FGGAM using my life to share what ‘can be’ with God. I hope this message from Darlene Quiring back in 2014 gives you some laughs and memories! 1. My mother taught me TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE . “If you’re going to kill each other, do it outside. I just finished cleaning.” 2. My mother taught me RELIGION. “You better pray that will come out of the carpet.” 3. My father taught me about TIME TRAVEL. “If you don’t straighten up, I’m going to knock you into the middle of next week!” 4. My father taught me LOGIC. ” Because I said so, that’s why.” 5. My mother taught me MORE LOGIC . “If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you’re not going to the store with me.” 6. My mother taught me FORESIGHT. “Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you’re in an accident.” 7. My father taught me IRONY. “Keep crying, and I’ll give you something to cry about.”
Fri, 06 May 2022 - 05min - 1001 - Our Great CommissionTrip To California
I want to share with you today about our trip to California! I call it our Great Commission Trip! We had a blast carrying out The Great Commission. Do you carry it out? Do you know what The Great Commission is? It is a command from Jesus! Tell; everyone about Jesus! “Going,” “baptizing,” and “teaching” are the means by which we fulfill the command to “make disciples.” What does the body of Christ not understand about THE GREAT COMMISSION? IT IS A COMMAND, TO GO! GO!
Thu, 28 Apr 2022 - 05min - 1000 - Do You Know God's Will For Your Life
God will move heaven and earth to show us His will for our lives? Are you hearing God? Are you doing what God wants you to do? When I was at KKIM Christian Radio in Albuquerque I had three Pastors come into my office within a month. All three told me the same thing, God told them that I needed to leave the radio station and go out and preach the word of God into New Mexico. I fought that for 6 moths! I did not want to leave! My retirement plan! I helped build up the station! I became very very unsettled....and then I left..that was almost 10 years ago now!
Thu, 14 Apr 2022 - 05min - 999 - HE IS RISEN
So, our wonderful Savior and all mighty God gives us re-assurance as to a sign. Remember what Jesus said to those who were asking a sign of Him. “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up” He also said, “an evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. And no sign shall be given, but the sign of the prophet Jonas; for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so shall the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” Therefore, my friends, as we celebrate Easter or better known as Resurrection day is deemed sufficient by the judge of heaven to convince rational men that Jesus is who he claimed to be. It is deemed sufficient evidence to call you and me to repentance and align ourselves to the cause of Christ Jesus our Lord. Paul reminds us in First Corinthians 15 and verse 14, “that if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is vain, and your faith is also vain”.
Thu, 14 Apr 2022 - 05min - 998 - Lasting Comfort and Freedom
Politics divides the world, creates so much hate….JESUS is the uniter of all, the ultimate peacemaker with all souls! The central message of Easter is that God still loves us, and because of Christ we can be forgiven. He came for one reason: “Christ died for sins once for all … to bring you to God” (1 Peter 3:18). May you welcome Him into your life during this holy season.” So many people strive for one thing more than any other—peace. The reason they seek it is because there’s no lasting comfort or freedom in their lives. It’s like they are always unsettled. The Bible defines peace primarily in three ways. Psychological peace, the comfort within. Relational peace, harmony among humanity. Spiritual peace, which is between God and man. Peace With God FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday: “The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Thu, 07 Apr 2022 - 05min - 997 - Are You Deeply Rooted?
Good morning Team Jesus! This is the House of Hope! I am Pastor Dewey Moede Dr. Jim Denison: Secularism continues to grow in the US. According to Pew Research, roughly three in ten Americans have no religious affiliation of any kind. Younger generations are less engaged in church than their parents; many committed Christians are not active in a local congregation. How is this radical secularism working for us? Consider this statement by the Wall Street Journal editorial board: “The world is entering the most dangerous period since the Soviet Union collapsed, and perhaps since the 1930s.” The editorial focuses on geopolitical dangers, but we could add the opioid epidemic and other “deaths of despair,” deepening political sectarianism that threatens democracy, and the escalating crime rate in the US. “HAVING BEEN FIRMLY ROOTED AND NOW BEING BUILT UP IN HIM AND ESTABLISHED IN YOUR FAITH” COLOSSIANS 2:7B So many times, we read through sections of scripture too quickly. We don’t pause to let the truth ‘soak in’ to our souls. Having ‘been’ … past tense, accomplished. God did it, accomplished it, now it is done. WE who have believed, have ‘been’ firmly rooted in Him, the Lord Jesus! And NOW, we are being, present tense, ‘built up’ upon that firm rooting that He has already put into place. That is a firm position. Remember the old hymn, “How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, is laid for your faith in His excellent Word!” We can exalt Him because of what He HAS DONE, IS DOING, and WILL DO in our lives! We could just stop there and say, ‘Amen’ … but there is so much more in these words.
Fri, 01 Apr 2022 - 05min - 996 - What To Do When You Have Family Problems
Adrian Rogers shared this at FGGAM,ORG: “When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, ‘Bless me—me also, O my father!’ But he said, ‘Your brother came with deceit and has taken away your blessing.’” (Genesis 27:34-35) PONDER THIS Isaac’s family was dysfunctional. There was favoritism. There were two brothers that hated one another. There was a dad who was caught up in what he could see and feel, a mother who was scheming, one son who was shady, and another son who was heartbroken all together in this one family. But God was at work in this family. You may say, “My family is a mess.” Good news. God is still God. I want you to see what God did. Hebrews 11:20 says, “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.” Despite the dysfunction, God was still at work. A wise man once said, “God does not change us in order to love us; God loves us in order to change us.” God loves your family. God loves you. You may say, “My family is one royal mess.” Hang on! God is not done yet.
Thu, 24 Mar 2022 - 05min - 995 - Leaving A Spiritual Legacy, Loving Jesus
I have been doing the funerals of too many young people. Last week I did the service for a 20 year-old man. This is the third son that the mother has lost to violence. It breaks my heart so much. My challenge to us all this morning is what are you doing about? Are you sitting back and complaining and making all things political instead of Biblical? Something to really think about! What will be your Spiritual Legacy?
Wed, 16 Mar 2022 - 05min - 994 - What Is Your Purpose?
What is your purpose in life? What are you doing for the Lord and people? Times are very tough, they are going to get worse. Do you have a mission statement? Do you have a bible verse that you hang your hat on. You can tell I am an old timer by using that phrase. Do you know your calling from God? Do you really know? What is it? If you do not know pray to the Lord....seek His face....listen...listen and He will answer you. I know because the Lord talks to me all the time.
Thu, 10 Mar 2022 - 05min - 993 - The Broken-Hearted Pastor
Oh My! I needed to be ministered today, as I have been doing so many funerals, seeing so many broken hearts, it has broken mine. I do not know if people realize how funerals can effect a pastor. I could write a book on what I have learned from God and people over the last two years, as I have done more funerals in that time period than the past 13 years. I have three funerals to officiate in the next few days. Pastor Darryl Dash really touched my heart when he wrote, “If you’re a pastor, you’re going to have to learn to pastor sometimes as a broken-hearted pastor.” For sure. If you really listen to God and people, you can learn so much about God’s ways and the ways of all people. It makes you a better person. It is the best education you can get. I am so blessed to be in God’s school, and not the school of man.
Thu, 03 Mar 2022 - 05min - 992 - Keep Your Joy
Welcome to the House of Hope! I want to encourage you during these times to visit us at FGGAMN.ORG so you get your news from a Biblical Worldview! Not a political worldview, or a TV Network view....but get it from a Biblical Worldview, we are here to serve God and you 24/7. Dr. Jim Denison wrote this week........ The renowned theologian John R. W. Stott used to say, “We must be global Christians with a global vision, because our God is a global God.” Because God is the king of the universe, every dimension of the universe falls within his care and compassion. He loves Ukrainians just as much as he loves Americans and Russians just as much as he loves Ukrainians.
Fri, 25 Feb 2022 - 05min - 991 - Why a Biblical Worldview is so Important
FGGAM shares a Biblical Worldview everyday: The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshipped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life (Franklin Graham, “A Biblical Worldview in Today’s Culture”).
Thu, 17 Feb 2022 - 05min - 990 - Do you hear God?
Good morning Team Jesus! Welcome to another edition of ''The House of Hope'. How are you and the Lord getting along? Are you talking to Him? Is God answering you? Are you listening to Him? Do you shut down if you do not get the answer you wasnt? Why do so many fail to hear what God is saying? We want to know His will for us.......but........ Do you hear God?
Fri, 11 Feb 2022 - 05min - 989 - I Am Tired of Weak Christianity
I love D.L. Moody! It is sad when I quote him when I am preaching, many do not know this man of God who led many to Jesus! Moody did what many Pastors and many Christians fail to do today, carry out THE GREAT COMMISSION! Share Jesus with the world! Did you know that President Abe Lincoln once visited Moody’s Sunday School class in Chicago? Study the life of the saints that have gone before us like D.L. Moody, you will be inspired. he was a simple man like myself, I so much identify with him! Maybe you will to! D L MOODY · WHAT DO YOU SEE? One day the preacher, D. L. Moody was approached by a man who wanted to know the secret of Moody’s success in leading men to the Lord. Moody asked the man to go and look out the hotel window. Doing so, Moody asked, “What did you see?” The man answered, “I saw a street crowded with people.” Moody requested that he go and look out again. When the man had looked the second time, Moody asked, “What did you see?” This time the man mentioned seeing people-men, women, and children. Moody then directed him to look a third time, and the man became frustrated that he was not seeing what Moody wanted him to see. The evangelist came to the window with watery eyes and said, “I see people going to hell without Jesus. Until you see people like that, you will not lead them to Christ.” Friends, what do we see when driving on the busy freeway, an over-crowded restaurant, a crowed waiting room, our neighborhood, or our extended family? -Anonymous Read about D.L. Moody here
Thu, 03 Feb 2022 - 05min - 988 - Freedom in Jesus
I had such an amazing time this past Tuesday night with Rob Vanderslice who leads ‘The Wash’ Bible study from his home in his garage here in Albuquerque. Now this WAS CHURCH! This is CHURCH! This is what the Church is to be about JESUS! All People, babies, children, young people, middle age and older folks! All were present! I had not seen this number of children in a Church setting in a very long time! There were over 40 people in attendance! I have not seen that many in a Church in a long time!!! I see that amount and more when I do a funeral. Rob is so very down to earth and so are the folks that attend this Bible study! They all hunger for the word of God! They want the truth, not the ‘nothing noise’ of the world. Pastor Ed Solis was in attendance with his lovely wife Darlene, and Ed said to me, “This may be the future of the Church in America.” This is how the Church started. Salt of the earth people. It was so cool when I was speaking a young man about 12 raised his hand, and read scripture to fit into what I was preaching on!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME! To have a young man raise his and and feel he has the freedom to do that it so godly! He had the self confidence to do that! He wanted to walk me out to my car afterwards, he said, “I’m going to be your body guard.” Love it! Rob has created an environment that people feel they can participate freely in the Lord. Church should be about JESUS and all people, not about the Pastor. It brought back memories to me when people in the late 60’s started to meet in their homes in Minnesota to come together for study and worship. High School and Jr. High students coming together to study the Word of God. I have stated for years the American Church has fallen in love with fancy dancy, the need for the latest sound equipment, in architecture, big costly buildings, all sorts of new stuff…that is what it is, stuff, you can’t take that to heaven. I have not seen this passion for JESUS in a very, very long time. I pray this message preaches to you! By the way, ‘The Wash’ is baptizing many people next Tuesday. If you want to connect with Rob you can do so by clicking on the link below. Man oh man! I am all fired up! These folks really gave this old man so much encouragement!!! I needed to witness this! I so much LOVE ALL PEOPLE!!! Ask Rob about his ‘Bike Ministry.’
Thu, 27 Jan 2022 - 05min - 987 - Do You Have The Fruits of the Spirit?
It has broken my heart when I see Christians supporting and getting their picture taken with politicians who use foul language, talking nasty about women, lying, cheating and other sinful actions. We must be known for our love of JESUS and people and not our politics. Look where politics has gotten us! We are coming apart at the seams. I have always said politics is the playground of Satan. We need peacemakers, not hate makers! Look at all the hate in America that really raised its ugly, demonic head in the last 7 years. Pastor Dewey I adore this from Kurt Bunda of OutReach Magazine: • Masks are done … masks are back and COVID controversies continue. • We’re paying about a dollar more for a gallon of gas than we did this time last year. • Religious exemptions were denied for many and people were fired from their place of employment for noncompliance. • Divisions in families and churches over all things COVID still happen a lot. Sadly, that list isn’t exhaustive. There are many other points of conflict in our culture. (And probably a lot more to come.) Regardless of where you land politically or what you believe about any of the many issues that exist, if you are a Christ-follower, you must do your best to look, sound and be like Jesus. Frankly, it doesn’t matter if your position on any particular topic is correct or not if you are not living correctly.
Fri, 21 Jan 2022 - 05min - 986 - We Must Love and Care for Each Other
Are you listening to God??? Do you love like Jesus? Do you show great care for others? Did you see that many hospitals and emergency rooms are filled up? How are you dealing with this crisis? Listen and and I will share with you a story out of southwestern Minnesota. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. –John 13:34-35 Dr. Jim Denison: David’s testimony: “For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation” (Psalm 62:1). Because David made this time for silence with his Lord, he could then write the next verse: “He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken” (v. 2). If we listen to God, he will speak. If we hear the voice of the omnipotent God of the universe, we cannot be the same. We will be empowered to give what we receive. And “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it” (John 1:5 NLT). A very sobering message…..but we need to hear the truth…… This is From Tim Hacker head of the Windom, Minnesota Ambulance Service. I am sure this message fits many communities in America! Windom Ambulance Service, serves a good chunk of southwestern Minnesota. We are praying for all! Thank you Tim and all our heroes for your service to America! Tim Hacker · FYI: 1) Hospitals & Emergency Departments are FULL. Unless you are dying, you will likely wait many hours to be seen. 2) If you are sick or injured to the level that you need an emergency room, please go, EVEN THOUGH it may be many hours before you’re seen. Bring a book, your phone, a tablet, & be ready to settle in. If you’re lucky enough to get a visitor allowed in with you, they should bring snacks for themselves because they likely won’t be able to leave & come back if they get hungry. 3) You will be seen based on your acuity level, or how serious your condition is based on your vitals & medical assessment, NOT the order in which you arrived. If someone who came in after you goes back first, that’s probably because they are sicker. That said, you WILL eventually be seen even if you’re not high acuity, it just won’t be on your preferred timeline. 4) Your acuity DOES NOT EQUAL how miserable you are. Acuity is how likely you are to die or lose a body part if you’re not treated immediately. If you are lower acuity than this, it doesn’t mean you’re not miserable or that your illness or injury is not valid. It just means other people are sicker. 5) If you are waiting in the ER for hours, don’t leave just because you are impatient. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SPOT IN LINE. If you leave & later need to come back, unless you are now dying, you will be back at the bottom of the queue because you LOST YOUR SPOT IN LINE. If you had stayed, you would have been seen sooner than if you left & came back. 6) Going to the ER by ambulance will NOT get you seen sooner (unless you are dying). You are still triaged based on your acuity level, not your mode of arrival. 7) If the ambulance takes a while to get to you, know that there aren’t that many of us on the streets right now. We are understaffed with increased demand, like the rest of healthcare. We are exhausted. I know you feel sick. I know you are in pain. So is everyone else in the ER. We’re not ignoring you, we are trying to care for as many people as possible but we are outnumbered. 9) Do what you can for your health & mitigate your risks. Don’t use the ER for routine COVID or flu tests. Don’t call 911 for dental pain (you need a dentist). If your condition is not an emergency, call your doctor. They want to take care of you, too. 911 & the ER are for emergencies.
Thu, 13 Jan 2022 - 05min - 985 - Fear Should Not Be A Way Of Life
I get up everyday anywhere from 1:30am to 4am...I listen to my LORD to direct everything I say and write. I get up before all the 'nothing noise' starts in the world. I just wanted to proclaim JESUS! JESUS! is always the answer to our challenges! His love for you is far greater than you realize! God directs FGGAM.ORG not man. We are here for you! We love you more than you will ever know! Your hands made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments. Psalm 119:73 NASB This morning I want to share a fact about fear in America as we start 2022. I am very thankful for all my teachers like Charles Stanley, Adrian Rogers, Billy Graham, Kathy Branzell..but most of all JESUS! JESUS!!! I also want to share this with you from Kathy Branzell of National Day of Prayer With that in mind, have you given any prayer or thought into how God wants to disciple you in 2022? Every year I encourage you to pray and to ask God for a word and/ or a Scripture that He will expand your understanding and lead you through over the next year. We can never predict all the ways He will increase your understanding as you journey through the year with Him. We are all imperfect people being perfected by a perfect God and He does not leave us to stumble through life with games and guesswork, He guides you every step of the way if you will resolve to watch and respond to all that He wants to do in you and through you each day. He is the Potter, and we are the clay. Many people are worried about what is going to happen in the coming weeks, months, and year. God sees the end from the beginning and His thoughts, plans, and ways are higher, better, and beyond anything we can ever imagine. Be encouraged; more than that, be strong and courageous walking by faith and not by sight. Turn your eyes, ears, and hearts to Jesus and exalt the Lord who has established you and all He has for you in 2022. Would you be willing to begin by praying with me now? Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, You are the Alpha and Omega, the God is was and is, and is to come. You are ALL mighty, wonderful, powerful, and worthy of all praise. You are the Author and Perfecter of faith and our lives, and we have nothing to fear as we walk in the safety of the shadow of Your wings. You are our refuge and our strength. You never leave us or forsake us, and we desire to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Please increase our understanding of Your will and ways so that we can worship You with our lives. Thank you for all that You have done and will do as we commit to learn and respond to You in 2022.
Fri, 07 Jan 2022 - 05min - 984 - Its Our Responsibility to Teach Morals to Our Children
Happy New Year Team Jesus! This morning I want to give you a Sunday school assignment! LOL! From me! I want you to study God's Word on Spiritual Warfare and The Great Commission! I want you to make that a high priority for such a time as this! Christians often complain about the condition of our society and usually blame the government. Government is not responsible for maintaining the moral fabric in a society, the church is. Morals cannot be legislated…they must be taught from birth and be a part of our DNA. That responsibility rests squarely on the church and Christian parents. The Enemy Within Written by Jim Reeves
Thu, 30 Dec 2021 - 05min - 983 - Warning Against Rejecting Wisdom
Wisdom Calls Aloud 20Wisdom calls out in the street, she lifts her voice in the square; 21in the main concoursec she cries aloud, at the city gates she makes her speech: 22“How long, O simple ones, will you love your simple ways? How long will scoffers delight in their scorn and fools hate knowledge? 23If you had repented at my rebuke, then surely I would have poured out my spirit on you; I would have made my words known to you. 24Because you refused my call, and no one took my outstretched hand, 25because you neglected all my counsel, and wanted none of my correction, 26in turn I will mock your calamity; I will sneer when terror strikes you, 27when your dread comes like a storm, and your destruction like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish overwhelm you. 28Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will earnestly seek me, but will not find me. 29For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD. 30They accepted none of my counsel; they despised all my reproof. 31So they will eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32For the waywardness of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them. 33But whoever listens to me will dwell in safety, secure from the fear of evil.”
Wed, 22 Dec 2021 - 05min - 982 - The Shepherds And The Angels
Merry Christmas all! Let us continue reading in Luke. Lets us pick up the birth of Jesus in Luke 1;8. The Shepherds and Angels....... Let us all promise to take the story of Christmas to the streets and carry out The Great Commission.....building bridges of love and trust. Here is what Charles Stanley states about the lost: Ephesians 2:1-5 God’s Word is always true, but sometimes it comes across as confrontational when it exposes our erroneous thinking. One truth that’s often considered challenging is the way God describes the desperate state of those who are without Christ. They are … Dead in their offenses and sins. Spiritual death came to all people as a result of Adam’s sin, leaving the human race under God’s condemnation (Eph. 2:1). Unable to grasp spiritual things (1 Cor. 2:14). Their minds are darkened, and they cannot understand the things of God. Outside of God’s family. Spiritually, there are only two families in the world: the family of God and the family of Satan (John 8:44). Under God’s wrath. Unbelievers, even the ones who are kind and loving, are under judgment because of their unforgiven sins (Eph. 2:3). Those without Christ are in grave danger and don’t realize it. They need to hear the bad news before they can see their need for a Savior. So find a way to carefully give them these hard truths, and explain how they can be rescued: Through faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ on their behalf, they can escape God’s wrath and condemnation.
Thu, 16 Dec 2021 - 05min - 981 - "How Will This Be?" asked Mary
Merry Christmas! Sharon and I want to thank you all who support this radio ministry! You make this radio program possible! We also thank those that support our newspaper scripture ads! This morning I want to share with you the Christmas story From Luke 1:26. Let us all be able to share the Christmas story. Let us all build bridges of love and trust. The Birth of Jesus Foretold 26In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” 29Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” 34“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
Thu, 09 Dec 2021 - 05min - 980 - Show The LOVE Of JESUS Always
Today I have had the blessing of being served by a lawn care man, Daniel from The Lawn Rangers, our auto mechanic, Greg from Albuquerque Fleet Auto and a Walgreens employee, I should had gotten her name! Sorry! All were so super nice to me and gave me awesome service! Sharon and I are so very grateful for all people, they show us the love of God! Remember its people that make the world go around, now I know that is old school, but that is what I grew up being taught and modeled! Many are not showing the love of Jesus to the people who serve us all. Pressure is high to serve while working with a short staff. Remember, to show people the love of Jesus, give them love, they deserve it. Think of the workers as yourself…how would you want to be treated? Please be kind. If you claim to know Jesus, then act that way! A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. –John 13:34-35

Fri, 12 Nov 2021 - 05min - 977 - The Prayer Closet
An Excerpt from “Power Through Prayer” by E. M. Bounds The preacher’s sharpest and strongest preaching should be to himself. His most difficult, delicate, laborious, and thorough work must be with himself. The training of the twelve was the great, difficult, and enduring work of Christ. Preachers are not sermon-makers, but men-makers, and saint-makers. Only he who has made himself a man and a saint is well-trained for this business. God does not need great talents, great learning, or great preachers, but men great in holiness, great in faith, great in love, great in fidelity, great for God. He needs men who are always preaching holy sermons in the pulpit and living holy lives out of it. These can mold a great generation for God. After this order, the early Christians were formed. They were men of solid mold, preachers after the heavenly type–heroic, stalwart, soldierly, saintly. To them, preaching meant self-denying, self-crucifying, serious, toilsome, martyr business. They applied themselves to it in a way that influenced their generation and formed in its womb a generation yet unborn for God. The preaching man is to be the praying man. Prayer is the preacher’s mightiest weapon. An almighty force in itself, it gives life and force to all. The real sermon is made in the closet. The man—God’s man—is made in the closet. His life and his most profound convictions are born in his secret communion with God. The burdened and tearful agony of his spirit, his weightiest and sweetest messages are received when alone with God. Prayer makes the man; prayer makes the preacher; prayer makes the pastor. The pulpit of this day is weak in praying. The pride of learning is in opposition to the dependent humility of prayer. In the pulpit, prayer is all too often only official—a performance for the routine of service. In the modern pulpit, prayer is not the mighty force it was in Paul’s life or ministry. Every preacher who does not make prayer a mighty factor in his own life and ministry is weak as a factor in God’s work and is powerless to advance God’s cause in this world. From E.M. Bounds in his book, “Power Through Prayer”
Fri, 05 Nov 2021 - 05min - 976 - Tough Love
Bitterness is a disease in the American society. It is hurting us more than you may know. Our children are growing up in an angry nation. People hurl insults, accusations and so on. Those words go into the heart and souls of many and into the walls of homes, never to be removed.. It is a very heavy burden to carry around. It is what we, as a society are teaching our children. Hatred. It is like planting seeds of hate, instead of seeds of love. It all plays out in front of us everyday. And look at the results! The foundation of America is being torn away by hate. Like a poison, bitterness has made not only many lives miserable but also the lives of those around them. They have never learned the secret of forgiveness and forbearance. We must be on guard, as the Bible instructs in Hebrews 12:15, “lest any root of bitterness springing up [can] cause trouble.” Meekness and forbearance are “musts” if we are to live harmoniously in society and develop healthy homes, families, and friendships. The positive sense of meek implies that someone is able to remain calm and subdued even when being provoked, I call it, power under control! While Christians must always speak the truth, we must do it in love. I call it 'tough love' The Bible tells us to “Speak evil of no one, [be] peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all” (Titus 3:2). Tough love is what I learned several years ago from my Mom and Dad. They loved us so much, that they taught us right from wrong and did not accept bad behavior. We knew not to cross that line. We also learned that in school and at Sunday School. We must teach this today, just as important is, that we always model it!
Thu, 28 Oct 2021 - 05min - 975 - In Christ Alone
Good Morning! This is the House of Hope! Last Sunday I was invited by my brother Pastor Paul Holt to preach at the First Baptist Church in Magdalena, New Mexico! They sand a song entitled "In Christ Alone" I am sure many of you have sung it and many of heard it on Christian radio. WOW! Does it preach! In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of lov, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My comforter, my all in all---Here in the love of Christ I stand.
Fri, 15 Oct 2021 - 05min - 974 - Education Without Action Is Entertainment
I love my Charles Stanley Study Bible! We are in the book of Psalm......... Psalm 119:33-40 Putting together a toy or a piece of furniture rarely goes as smoothly as expected. This is especially true if we don’t read the instructions. Perhaps they’re too long or difficult to understand, so we ignore them. Then we wonder why the project doesn’t turn out right. This is how many believers live the Christian life. They try to figure it out without referring to God’s Word. The Bible is too long, they think, and it would take years to gain a basic understanding of the contents; there just isn’t enough time to read it. Furthermore, it strikes them as complicated and difficult to understand. But ignoring the Word of God is dangerous. When we stop reading Scripture and applying its principles, we don’t just stand still; we actually start drifting away from God. Peter tells us to long for the Word so we may grow in respect to our salvation (1 Pet. 2:2). And don’t forget, the indwelling Holy Spirit will bring understanding. If your desire is to glorify God and overcome worries, fears, and sin, then Scripture must be your priority. Reading, studying, and applying the Word may require sacrifices, but the reward of knowing your Savior better and living a life pleasing to God is worth it. Please Read From Your Charles Stanley Study Bible Also please pray about getting Dr. Stanley's Life Principles CD set for Men.
Fri, 08 Oct 2021 - 05min - 973 - Appreciate Your Pastor
This morning I want to share with you a message from Kathy Branzell of the National Day of Prayer: As we turn our calendars to October we celebrate Pastors with appreciation and focus on them and the Church in prayer. As the Church, we are not merely consumers but contributors and participants with our Pastors. They preach, counsel, lead and love as they shepherd their congregation in the Word of God to help equip us. We take their teachings out of the church and into all we do to multiply and exemplify the messages throughout our week and lives. Our Pastors pray for us, disciple, and minister to us, but they are our brothers and sisters in Christ; we should pray and minister to them as well. Every minister at your church should have an intercessory team that is committed to pray each week for the minister and the activities, and people they are responsible for. We want to encourage you to share with your Pastor how they have discipled and ministered to you and show them appreciation in daily prayer and as the Lord directs you. You might even consider recruiting 52 volunteers to sign up for a particular week to pray and show appreciation to cover every week of the year. Pray through the ministers and their families as well as each of the ministries at your church. If you do not already know, ask for the names of the missions and missionaries your church supports. Ask for a calendar of events to pray through your bulletin, website or app each week. You can even volunteer to pray for those who are sick, have visited your church or have submitted their names for prayer. Take time to express appreciation for Pastor in prayer and to them directly. Will you please join me in prayer now? Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd, the head of the Church, our Savior and Lord. Thank you for our Pastors; for calling and equipping them to lead Your Church, disciple us, and teach us to live out Your commands and compassion. Thank You for this focused time to share and show our appreciation and we ask that You help us to know a specific way to express our gratefulness and respect. Give us insight or information about a certain need or gift that would delight their heart and prompt me to pray for them daily throughout the year. Serving Him with gladness, Kathy Branzell President About the National Day of Prayer The National Day of Prayer tradition predates the founding of the United States of America, evidenced by the Continental Congress’ proclamation in 1775 setting aside a day of prayer. In 1952, Congress established an annual day of prayer and, in 1988, that law was amended, designating the National Day of Prayer as the first Thursday in May. Thu, 30 Sep 2021 - 05min - 972 - Where Is God?
Last week I officiated a funeral of an 8 year-old-girl. So very, very tragic. As they say, a parent should never have to bury a child." The mother of the little girl told me that same thing. The mother said, "this should not have happened." It really hit me hard when the little girls brother got up and said, "I loved Marissa, I tried to protect her." It also really hit me when Mom and Dad closed the casket. Where is God?

Thu, 09 Sep 2021 - 05min - 969 - Be Like Jesus
“…having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will…” (Ephesians 1:5) This verse says that we’re chosen before the world and then predestined to be like the Lord Jesus. Predestination is not saying from eternity that this man will go to Heaven and this other man goes to Hell; predestination says that those who trust the Lord Jesus are going to be like the Lord Jesus. Predestination teaches me on the authority of the Word of God that because He chose me and because I have trusted Him, it is settled forever that I’m going to be like the Lord Jesus Christ and that settles the question of my security. If I am predestined for adoption into the family of God, what can stop it? What can stand in the way? Nothing. I am predestined; I have been chosen to be like the Lord Jesus. God’s plans for me will never be thwarted, no matter the schemes of the devil.
Fri, 27 Aug 2021 - 05min - 968 - God Has Given Us A Conscience, Our Moral Compass
This morning on the House of Hope I want to share with you that three Albuquerque Police Officers were shot during an armed robbery. Please pray for the officers. One is critical at this time. This morning I want to share with you about the power of your conscience. God gave us the gift of a conscience to act as a moral compass. many in the world do not have morals. They are ruled by Satan. We see it all the time on TV. They do not know Jesus.
Thu, 19 Aug 2021 - 05min - 967 - If your living for this world....your painting the decks of a sinking ship
if you know me at all, I love 'old time religion' this is from Adrian Rogers.... If we’re living for the world, we’re painting the decks of a sinking ship. This world is passing away and the fashion thereof, and soon the mossy fingers and the foul breath of decay are going to take away all those toys and prized possessions we have. Satan sails a sinking ship. He rules a doomed domain. Long after this world is passed away, and long after this world as we know it is turned to rust and dust and mold and corruption, all those things that people have dreamed for and schemed for and sold their souls for will be junk, if they exist at all. But those who know the Lord will be sitting in the Kingdom, praising Him. Are there things of this world you value too highly? How might you move your focus from the temporal things of the world to the eternal things of Christ?
Fri, 13 Aug 2021 - 05min - 966 - Judging Others
We are all created equal........I have a couple of stories to share with you this morning........ Caroline Campbell has written the entire Bible by hand, completing in June a project that began nine years earlier. Her mother estimates that the completed manuscript, which is compiled in forty-three binders, is more than ten thousand pages. Caroline serves as a greeter at her church in South Carolina and regularly visits church members in nursing homes. She got a job a few years ago at a restaurant, where the franchise owner said after meeting her, “This girl is a star. Her personality shines. She’s a true star, and her star radiates. Her attitude makes ours better.” Since completing her handwritten Bible, Caroline has received some attention in the media and is happy to hear she’s inspired others to love God’s word as she does. She recently received a letter from a seminary student on the West Coast who told her he is going to begin writing out the Bible by hand too. All of this helps Caroline fulfill her mission, as she told Christianity Today: “I want to inspire people to learn the Bible.” By the way, Caroline has Down syndrome.
Thu, 05 Aug 2021 - 05min - 965 - How do you start your day?
How do you start your day? With looking at your phone? Facebook news feed??? Searching the latest political news? Start your day with God! God’s word instructs us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7). The “everything” about which we are to pray includes the news we consume and how we respond to it, especially if it makes us “anxious” as a result.
Thu, 29 Jul 2021 - 05min - 964 - How You Live Your Life Is Your Testimony
We must ask ourselves this questions.....we must be Ambassadors for Jesus, We must carry out The Great Commission, tell the world about Jesus! Jesus is the only answer to the problems of the world. Do I speak with the law of kindness? (Ephesians 4:29) Do I listen more than I speak? (James 1:19) Do I regularly engage others who look, act, and think differently than I do? (I Corinthians 9:22) Do I see the hurting in society, in my family or my church and extend my hand to respond to their need? (Matthew 25:35-40) Do I use every opportunity given to share my faith? (I Peter 3:15) How quickly do I forgive when offended? (Eph. 4:32) Am I willing to go wherever God sends me to serve the least of these, to advance his kingdom? (Isaiah 6:8)
Fri, 23 Jul 2021 - 05min - 963 - God Works in Mysterious Ways
One of the oldest stories and one of the most marvelous miracles to be told is that of Abraham and Sarah. Sarah had been childless all their married life, and she was approaching the age of 90. Could anything be more impossible than to have a child at that age? How could anyone blame this couple for doubting God’s promise that they would someday have their own child? But God gently reminded them that nothing is too hard for Him. And the following year the impossible happened. Isaac was born. God fulfilled His promise to Abraham that he would become the father of a great nation. Natural births or even adoptions may not always be God’s plan, but He will use willing hearts to reach out to those in need. Make it a point to know God’s will, for it is the highest of all wisdom. As we move in the direction we believe God is directing, trust Him to close doors He doesn’t want you to go through, and to open those that will bring His blessing. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and… in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). We must always believe God for His provision and be tuned into what He may have in store.
