    Salaam Mohamed!On today’s show we had @hoodsvstheworld filling in for @marroushti with a special guest @mhadi.84 from @sawtalsudan.au . Mohamed talked to us about what is happening in Sudan, from revolution to war, and how the Palestinian and Sudanese struggle is connected. He also spoke to us about a new advocacy group for Sudan in Melbourne @sawtalsudan.au and their upcoming plans and initiatives. Mohamed is a Sudanese student at unimelb who has been involved with community organizing, palestenian advocacy through unimelb for palestine and anti-racism initiatives within the university space.     On today’s show join us for a nourishing conversation with aunty Rasha Tayeh from BeiteShai who is a Palestinian herbalist/nutritionist, and an event curator based in Naarm. Rasha has been putting on and collaborating on key events in Naarm creating a healing space for our community. On the show we’ll touch on some of the challenges she faced as a Palestinian artist/curator and our role as a community to enable and prepare for divestment.     Salaam Juman !  Juman is a Palestinian - Australian singer songwriter & Music producer, devoted to music, and its power to liberate and evoke emotion. On today’s show we’ll be chatting to Juman and Nadeem from Al Ghareeb on censorship of Palestinian and SWANA artists in the art scene at  major events, clubs and festivals and the recent cancellation of Juman’s booking at Esoteric Festival. We hope through these discussions to start working together as a community to create safe and welcoming spaces for our BIPOC creatives and find alternatives to zionist funding.  We’ll also play a short recroding of Nene H's set last night at subclub.
