-We previewed it last week and it came true, as no Huskers heard their names called in the 7 rounds of the Draft. Several did sign as undrafted free agents with teams, which is no surprise, but it’s another disappointing year in the Draft

-The moaning seemed much louder from the fans about that stat 5 years ago when the draft streak was snapped…maybe they weren’t bothered as much because of how Raiola looked in the Spring Game!

-It’s way too early to make a comparison to him, but a lot of fans watching the Spring Game made comparisons of Raiola to Patrick Mahomes—everything from the way he takes the snap to the way he runs and buys time…it was fun to watch to say the least (16/22, 239 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT)

-The other QBs showed good moments, too---and Jaylen Lloyd looked great at WR

-On the other hand, injuries to Demitrius Bell and Blye Hill both suffered patella injuries which could set them back for a significant amount of time…Hill was trending toward a starter spot as a CB

There is a significant possibility that Nebraska strikes out AGAIN for transfers from the state of Nebraska...maybe it’s time we stop putting so much effort into that narrative.  Frankie Fidler still hasn’t decided, and you know there is a committable offer out there – with a significant NIL deal PLUS he called off his decision following a weekend visit to Michigan State William Kyle has a similar situation to Frankie, but Nick believes Kyle is much more valuable... Did Fred not know Chucky was entering and that is why he signed Rollie Worster?  You could say the same thing regarding Gavin Griffiths and Frankie Fidler.
