We touch on all parts of the process including casting auditions, crew, film distribution, and getting it in front of an audience. It's no secret that independent film is one of the most challenging fields to enter, join us as we discuss the many differences and similarities at a local and indie level.

This episode covers a few black films that we encourage everyone to watch, including Just Mercy, Straight Outta Compton, Queen & Slim, Get Out, and Selma. We discuss some of the memorable moments from each film including spoilers throughout.
