Now that PS3 owners have had the pleasure of trying out the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer demo, Ubisoft has taking to showing off the different modes more openly, and discussing their plans going forward. The main challenge in multiplayer was to find game modes that actually work with the franchise. To keep in the spirit of the franchise, the players are actually Templars training in the Animus, running through various simulations, which represent the different multiplayer modes.

Hands on time with LG's two Windows Phone 7 devices headed towards the Canadian market, the LG Optimus 7 slate style phone on Telus, and the LG Optimus Quantum QWERTY slider on Bell. Both phones sport 16GB of RAM and 1GHz processors, with the real differentiator between the two being the choice of keyboard or not. The Optimus 7 has a 3.8" screen, while the keyboard packing Optimus Quantum has a slightly smaller 3.5" screen. We also look at the LG custom augmented reality app Scan Search, and their Panoramic Shot photostitching camera app.

He also talks about the third movie, which will be an anthology like the first, with animation done by blur.com. David Fincher is executive producer and plans on directing a segment. During the interview, Eastman also mentions directors Zack Snyder, Guillermo Del Toro and Gore Verbinski all want to direct segments as well.

This past Wednesday, we at rgbFilter went to the Toronto launch party for the new comic The Apocalipstix by writer Ray Fawkes and artist Cameron Stewart. Ray and Cameron were kind enough to give Alex some time to talk to them about the comic, and other projects they have coming up. It was a great night, presented by Chris from The Beguiling. After an intro and book signing session, the party continued with a couple of great bands, Dame and Terror Lake. There will definitely be more coverage of the night in the next regular episode of rgb Filter.
