Chronic skin disease can cause a lot of discomfort for dogs and cats. In turn, this can cause veterinary visits for not only the pet, but the owner to be intimidating. Implementing fear free techniques can allow veterinarians to work with the patient and a client to make the experience less stressful. In a specialty that often includes lifelong, frequent rechecks, it will change the way you practice.

Phovia is a two-part system released by Vetoquinol in 2021. As pyoderma has become more and more difficult to control, it is essential that we investigate alternative methods to antibiotics. Phovia has also been shown to be helpful for the management of perianal fistulas (a painful, difficult disease!).
Learn about how Phovia works and the benefit of implementing its use in your practice.
