In this episode, Luke and Blake chat with Kevin Anderson, President/Partner at Obsidian Group, a value add commercial real estate acquisition and brokerage firm in the Minneapolis area. Kevin, along with two other partners, founded Obsidian Group in 2019. Kevin talks about starting a real estate company, some of his first deals, and ways he utilizes creative financing in his deals.

Jeff joins Blake and Luke on Episode 13 of Cash-on-Cash Connections to talk about his life experience over his career in real estate. Jeff led the Portfolio Management group for Invesco Real Estate's U.S. direct real estate program until his recent retirement last month. Michael Casey is a former Senior Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations and Business Development for the real estate group. Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Casey worked at Cliffwood Partners LLC from 1998 to 2007, where he was the President of the firm. Prior to joining Cliffwood Partners LLC, he was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of Heitman Capital Management. Prior to Heitman, he spent twelve years with JMB Realty Corporation and its affiliates on the investment side of the business. Mr. Casey received a B.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance in 1980 and an M.B.A. in Real Estate in 1983 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Casey is a member of the James A. Graaskamp Center’s Applied Real Estate Investment advisory board at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Business School.
